OMG what a stellar performance! Chaka is my aunt and this performance brought tears to my eyes because this song is near and dear to my heart. Not only did you NAILED IT, you captured every essence and emotion that was involved in making this song. You guys are awesome and your vocalist is out of this world. I’m so fulfilled right now.

Without a doubt, this is the best female vocal performance for HSCC in at least a year. Powerful, sultry, soulful and perfectly delivered with a killer band. What a great emotional ride.

OH MY GOODNESS! Kat absolutely nailed that song! And the band....they are so tight and absolutely spot-on with everything. If you have never played in a band before, you just don't understand how much talent and skill it takes to do put every instrument and vocal together so precisely and tight. This a stellar performance!

It’s a true pleasure to close your eyes and listen to these world/master class singers and musicians perform all these covers equal to or even better than the originals. Whats amazing about this band is their sound engineering, you can hear ever instrument and vocal because one doesn’t over power the other one. Great job guys I wish y’all were coming to America because I’d be there no matter where y’all performed.

Stunning choice. Everything cutting through the mix in its own space. Kat’s vocal is sublime. True to the original in many ways, but unique vocalisations as well. Bet Chaka would be proud!

Listening again on earbuds, and once again a Great mix, Dave! (Following in the footsteps of the previous excellent keyboardist/mixer, Darren?...) As James V stated, an excellent choice for Kat as lead vocalist, with her dramatic singing style and wide range. With the always-impeccable musicianship of the HSCC band, they never distract by comparisons to the original, but just provide a solid backing to let the vocalists shine.

'Kats vocal is sublime' I disagree. Think she struggled in parts as another poster said, she over did it. Around 3 mins 30 onwards was an ordeal to listen to.

Growing up in the 80’s, this was one of favourite tracks by Chaka Khan on her album “I feel for you” and dare I say on vinyl. You guys brought back all those memories. Did I mention you did a great cover too, loved it.

when you take a song like this sung by Chaka Khan, and not only sing it on point, but create a melody that would have chaka herself just shake her head, thank you HSCC. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Two years ago I found HSCC here on KZfaq and have been a big fan ever since. Ironically, it was Kat singing “Ain’t Nobody” by Chaka Khan that caught my attention. I was like, “Who is this thinking they about to cover Chaka Khan?” 🤔🤣🤣. She absolutely crush it 🔥, and I was stunned 😳👀 Two years later, and after watching tons of HSCC videos, I continue to be amazed!! Yet again, this is a big song that takes a lot of musicality and a huge but controlled voice to cover… thus, not too many dare to. Thank you for being bold, brave, and talented enough to take on these very demanding classics!! Way to go Kat!! Chaka, Michael, Whitney… etc, you certainly don’t shy away from a challenge. This is my favorite Chaka Khan song. I listened to this with a good set of headphones on, and I'm not talking that Beats garbage either. Listening in this manner was like a religious experience. It seems like Kat is giving my beloved Leslie a run for her money. What a voice. What an amazing cover. I love this band and all the talent it employs.
