The pressure relief in the valve cover is an INLET!. The scavenger stages in the dry sumps pull oil in to them thus infact creating vacuum in the crankcase and subsequently the head.. typically around 5" of vacuum in regular applications and around 15" when using very low tension piston rings (easier to rotate but smoke like a mother****) so the extra vacuum helps with oil sipping pass the rings. I like this fella. He comes off as a really nice humble guy. He engineered that engine to be to be so smooth, with a smooth rev limiter and sweet adjustable power delivery. I respect the aviation mods. Early race cars, were often be powered by aviation engines because they were strong, reliable, over-engineered and made huge power. And he sends it like a madman. We need more people in our world like him. Thank you for sharing.
