@@beasthercules5807 Dry spells are gonna happen. Glad you got one like that. I have had a great season so far, but I killed two at 11:00 AM and the other one at 12:30 PM. First one followed hens I called up. The other two were ambushed. Maybe they will be right on the next road trip!!

The hunt was great but the best part to me is at 21:29 Ted just stops for just a second to admire the horizon. God’s creation is beautiful! It’s awesome when he blesses us with a harvest, but the opportunity and freedom to enjoy his creation is even better. Awesome hunt guys, God bless you!

Ole Ted prediction sounded like the weather man, he's either going to be on our right or left, kinda like it might rain, it might not. And just like the weather man, Ted was wrong, the turkey was right in front of him 😂. Awesome hunt, you can feel the emotion of that hunt. I've never turkey hunted, but man you guys sure make it look like a lot of fun.

Had a similar hunt on my second bird in Florida. Set up before daylight in an area where a Tom had been roosting, I’d already played with the bird a week prior and he hung out in a hog root all morning that day but I couldn’t get close enough to see him. This time I set up in the hog root, saw him and a hen in the tree about 100 yards away once the sky started to brighten up, watched them for about 20 minutes. The hen pitched down first and landed about 30-40 yards directly behind me, then he pitched down right to the hog root at a perfect 25 steps, I was back at the truck by 7:45. Almost perfect hunt, wish he had gobbled a few times.

I killed a 33 pound tom last year in pa 12 inch beard 1 3/4 spurs it's at the taxidermist now probably will never kill one that big ever
