Absolutely The Hunting Public is the best tv hunting by far. You are the only one I watch now. Don't ever change, keep showing us the entire hunting process. I loved watching the spring turkey hunts where it sometimes takes 4 episodes before you show a harvest. Love it.

Uhg. I can't handle ANYTHING about him. The attempts at humor, continuous "scratching", the hair, the nose, the fake accent, the fake personality, the fake hunting knowledge. He's actually the ONLY thing I DON'T like about THP.

Zach's calling is SICK. The purr at 32:43 is sweet. I have not yet come close to doing it like he does. I would be great for him to give us some pointers on how he does that. Congrats on the success.

Awesome! Hayden looked disappointed with the miss, but that's just part of turkey hunting. The shot he made on the first bird was the greatest shot of the whole season so far, so he should be proud! Great hunts in my home state! loved it!!!

Come and hunt NC during deer season. Pisgah or Nantahala National Forests would be great and a real challenge. Over 1 million acres. Great video by the way.

You gotta get DEEP in those places to get a nice one. Best bet is try and find a private piece up towards Avery or watauga co.

THP! You helped me get 2 Toms in the mountains of NC last weekend by teaching me to scratch the leaves like a hen. Had 4 bad boys come in to me on a string and the scratching was what sealed the deal. Thanks for all the knowledge dudes! I'm here in North Carolina and I have three toms this year I've nicknamed the "Thunder Brothers". They roost in the same trees and have hammered early and on the ground and skunked me all the while. I bought a corkboard and cleaned out my office, so one whole wall is the corkboard. I've tacked on it intelligence with yarn string intersecting at points, bringing the whole operation to fruition. There's a picture I took of the thunder brothers pre season in the middle, a google picture of the roost site, a alarm clock with 4:15 am and a picture of a bowl of special K yogurt and nut of cereal. I know now what I have to do....Go in and wait in the afternoon.

Freaking loved this video, I stay in middle/eastern NC and y’all have got me wanting to plan a trip to the mountains this year for a long bird. You guys are hunting machines and have been following you guys for as long as I can remember. I use a green light and they pay no attention to it. My theory is that the moon can shine through at night and brighten up green foliage on the ground. So it’s not really out of the ordinary. Keep it on the lowest brightness setting and keep it pointed to the ground. I’ve honestly never had a bird spoof from it and I love to get in their kitchen when I hunt them.

Yawl sure are lucky to here all these gobblers , I was hunting in Glenwood Arkansas this last weekend and only one turkey gobbled once in those two days. Great Video! Congrats Zach for that Nice gobbler 😊

Yesterday morning a day after my 40th birthday I shot my first turkey ever!!!! A 30 pound Osceola here in central Florida, another hunter said it was actually a hybrid of Osceola and Eastern 🤷. 12 inch beard with 1 and a half inch spurs. A monster!! These boys have been such an inspiration for me!! I'm 100% addicted to turkey hunting now!!!! 💪💪🤘🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. Yesterday was an amazing day. Obviously I'd never butchered a turkey but luckily there were 2 retired navy gentlemen that were camping near me that noticed I got a bird. They asked if they could come check him out, of course I said absolutely c'mon over. I told them if they had any advice for me on how to go about cleaning the bird, the one guy was a rock star, he showed me exactly how to not only get the meat but on how to save the spurs, beard and fan. I asked when all done what kind of beer y'all drinking I'ma go get y'all some, they replied no no it's all good it's what we do. Apparently they take out wounded vets hunting and fishing and just happened to be camping near me, we were the only campers in the wma. Soo yes, yesterday was an amazing day. I talked with those 2 gentlemen for hours about hunting and fishing and military stories. Thanked them many times for helping me and for their service to this beautiful country. GOD IS GOOD 💪💪🤘🤘❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

So stoked to have Zach here in NC 🤙🏼🍻 If it’s any consolation I’ve been wearing my THP shirt for the last two days while I was out of state chasing Virginia mountain gobblers right there by the border of TN & NC. You could hear the Benny Hill music as I chased this one around the mountain for the last 24 hours lol(I was limited to one mountain as I was there for a family function). I really like that y’all are willing to air your humility when something doesn’t go right so we can all learn from it. I took a shot at one this morning that was too far and I’ve been slapping my forehead every time I think about it today. Was nice coming home and seeing this video. Inspiring. Cheers fellas 🍻

Dude that was awesome! You almost coulda wacked that ole boy with a stick lol. Regarding the use of lights when you're sneaking in, I use a headlamp with a red light on it. I've walked underneath birds too many times to count with a red light. As long as you're quiet, it doesn't bother them at all. Man that miss is a bummer, but that's hunting. You definitely redeemed yourself! Keep up the good work fellas!!

Season opened in michigan yesterday and me and my dad both shot our toms. I hate shooting a bird early in the season and not being able to hunt the rest. 😭

If you have a spot that no one else is going to be hunting you can always go out and just call them in. Try to get them as close as you can just like your hunting them. Its fun to just call them in. But I wouldn’t do it if there is other hunters out there.
