I agree with another comment. A challenge would be hunting northern lower Michigan or the U.P., for a mature buck. I suspected they would stick to either southern or central farm country. Still super excited to see them in Michigan!

Haymarsh Creek area outside Barryton on 24 mile rd check it out you won’t be disappointed very low hunting pressure during archery season

Looks like a pretty good group of guys, I hunt northern Michigan public land and have bagged a few nice ones over the years. Did my first out of state hunt this year in Missouri public land and tagged a nice 9 on day 2, missed a different shooter day 1. If ya’ll venture back up this way hit me up would be sweet to team up and help you guys tag one.

4x4 down with good tires on that sandy loam only. I watch jeeps and trucks get stuck at the river all the time. If it's real soft you should drive in backward's so the truck is being pulled instead of pushed.

You may not care, but I would get an alignment on that F150. You just drug it though mud with the wheels cocked. Good chance the alignment is altered and could n ph w cause poor tire wear. Love the videos.

It's like seeing all my heroes in ONE place! I was especially glad to see Dan Infalt, and I just laughed when I saw where he headed to: DEEP WATER! I've learned important things from all these guys, but it's Dan's love of water that did more for my hunting than any single strategy I've ever come across. I hunt public land river bottoms, but until Dan came along I truly never appreciated how far bucks will travel in water/mud/muck to find solitude. They'll even swim in the dead of winter when there is ZERO food out on the little islands they bed on. Learning this totally changed how I scout and hunt.

I hunt central east Michigan and it is hard to get a deer to even walk in and if you do they are so skidish and hard to hunt and no big bucks.so good luck

The only non-res deer tags sold this year, to The Hunting Public. Love the ambition. I cut my teeth on pressured Mi whitetails. Anyone that consistently kill decent Mi deer with a bow can kill anything anywhere. Most of my nice bucks were tight to bedding in swamps in water, exactly how this one started. Good luck guys!
