For escaping against pinhead, i suggest to you to be a good looper. Then for the build i guess bite the bullet, dead hard, botany knowledge, spine chill will help you out. Especially if he using stealth built spine chill can be good.

Actually Pinhead can be reasoned with, especially if you didn't solve the lament configuration. In the Novella Pinhead / Hellpriest and the cenobites honor their deal with Kristy by only taking Frank after he escaped his torment. (I.e. if your roommate did and managed to elude pinhead, you could make a deal with him to get what is rightfully Leviathan's. [The ruler of Pinhead's realm])

Tbh the most terrifying thing about pinhead isnt his powers. It isnt where he came from. Its how calm he is. How collected he usually is. How well he just KNOWS how to deal with most people. From what ive seen of him, hes usually calm, civil, and level headed except in rare circumstances. Its hard to get a read on him. Plus i think he was stated to be stronger than both Jason voorhees and Michael Myers at one point, so theres that as well

Did you guys forget that the pinhead proof suit is also going to be pulled by the magnet…? And the magnet won’t stick him to the wall, it’ll only rip out all his piercings, causing him pleasurable pain and freeing him while you’re stuck to the magnet. I operate these magnets, they’re not like a fridge magnet, they’re like two pieces of metal welded together. People have had steel plates ripped out of their bones by these things.

Very funny video but... 1- You wouldn't be able to overcome your traumas or get psychological treatment because once you open the box Pinhead and the other cenobites would manifest anytime to mess up your reality, no one could see them except you because you are in contact with their dimension. 2- He could tie you and strangle you with the chains, and take off your helmet easily 3- Even if he somehow doesnt notice and falls in the trap he could return to his dimension or summon other cenobites that would come to help him and tear your soul apart.

You can actually beat him in 2 ways. 1) Keep manipulating the puzzle box. Solving it a different way will banish him. 2) Bargaining. Unlike most baddies, he's usually 1 you can make a deal with.

The shark proof suit wouldn't work. Pinhead can and does change the hooks, at least in the movies. I'm pretty sure it would have an answer for the suit. Magnet wouldn't work either. First it can read your mind, so it probably already knows the plan. Also, it would rip or remove the metal to be free. The pins will just reappear like they have done in the movies. Pinhead took on Satan and won for Petesakes lol. I would say, Pinhead is almost impossible to destroy. The only one who pulled it off was Clive Barker haha.

The big obvious one is simply don't come into contact with that puzzle cube in the first place, but that's both easy, boring and requires prior knowledge. But the second idea that comes to mind is reasoning with pinhead upon him appearing, doing his bidding and luring others into his trap as payment for not being transformed into another cenobyte.

You could also just reason with him (offer up another soul, etc.), not summon him at all, dismember him like the Harrowers would or endure torture long enough for the harrowers to save you. You wouldn't even need to worry about revenge because nothing is personal for him.

The guy talks a lot about defending yourself against a cenobite... He must have never seen Hellraiser 3. They literally take down a city and its police force lol Closing the box seems to be the only actual defense. Also, in Hellraiser 2 it seems only another Cenobite can actually harm a Cenobite.
