Domino and machine tricks alone are captivating, but what happens when you try to combine them? Carson and I teamed up to create mind-blowing machine tricks centered around the domino effect.

Huge thanks to Carson for allowing this collaboration to happen in the first place, as well as for putting up with my terrible procrastination. Seriously, this video could have been released almost half a year ago if it wasn't for my obnoxiously slow building pace throughout the later half of the year, so I apologize for any stress I might have caused.

OH MY GOD. I ... I can't address the video as a whole; it's like looking at the sun. I'm gonna go through your clips one by one: 0:28 is such a neat concept - it offers a nice contrast to other tricks in the video 0:42 I'm honestly so glad Lyle gave you those launchers - they couldn't be in better hands. It was already cool that you made not one but TWO accurate shots - then you used those dominoes as counterweights on levers to hit other levers, and the levers the dominoes were on raised OTHER levers to allow a domino path to complete. Such a tightly packed and well-ordered multi-use system is what I'm here for tbh 0:54 I love this concept just because it's one path, splitting into five individual paths, EACH of which is necessary to trigger the next step. Interdependency, man. I love it. AND the fact that the triggered knex weight acts as a ball lift for a ball triggered by the initial impulse that triggered the other five just makes it so much cooler. Freaking amazing, man. 1:08 I love these flipping tracks! The use and reuse for a domino run/ball path is a neat idea but what I really love is in the details, in your implementation. I like seeing how you achieved your goal in this specific case with strategic weighting to get the tracks to tilt in the right way, and fall back into place. Not to mention the fact that you casually just reuse the same ball?? Honestly, I need to start reusing balls more in my machine. It's such a neat thing to be able to not only have an amazing trick, but have a ball reuse buried inside it. 1:27 Pivot track reuses are rapidly becoming my favorite thing in the machine community because HOLY CRAP you have taken this to the NEXT LEVEL. Not only do you have TWO series of TWO pivot tracks (already very ambitious, at least if you're me haha), YOU TILT THEM AND THEN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR TILT TO SLIDE THEM _SEAMLESSLY_ PAST EACH OTHER AND HOLY CRAP IT MAKES FOR AN AMAZING EFFECT (and again, I love the little details that show how much work you had to put into getting it to function - my personal favorite fix is the left red pivot track's raising lever when it comes down to raise the track, hitting a short string which makes the ice domino fall onto the lever. I can make a pretty good guess as to why that was necessary and what problem was happening, and seeing the elegance of the fix (I LOVE seeing how other people solve problems) makes it so much cooler. I know this is the kind of thing that's appealing to a VERY narrow audience, but I love seeing how you solve problems, even if all my guesses about the problems and your fixes are horribly wrong and misguided lmao) 1:54 This trick is... wow. This trick is something else man. Already loved the double use of the dominoes going right and then left, but then going back right again (with the strategically removed barrier) was the expected next step. What I did NOT see coming was you then SLIDING half of the dominoes back and using ALL of them in a series of sonimod-esque chain reactions. The PRECISION and the way it was somehow so unexpected to me (which I suppose it shouldn't really have been) made this trick definitely among my favorites, if not my favorite, trick. I love that motion, I love the multi-use, I love the compactness and neatness, and I love the element of surprise. Freaking amazing, man. 2:16 I've come to love the way you seem to nonchalantly allow gears to fall perfectly into place, meshing instantly and joining up in chains. I know from -shamelessly attempting to copy your ideas- experience that it's not that easy, and it impresses me every time you do it. Again, you used a sonimod-esque reaction to make those white tiles fall out, and I loved the combination of that with the gear system to drop them to the next layer. You have some of the coolest trick combos. I was already very impressed, and the gears seemed to be rolling to their next destination, and then YOU USED THEM AS DOMINOES AND HAD THEM FALL INTO PLACE _AGAIN_ . I can imagine how much patience this clip took because HOLY CRAP that does not happen easily, and frankly I envy the way you make it look so natural. And, of course, I like the attention to detail, the fact that all three gears need to roll down in order for the next step to occur, and the neat little swingers that help facilitate the gears' domino motion. Just, holy crap man. What the heckkkkk You manage to outdo yourself every time, and I *truly* aspire to reach this level with my clips. It's gotten to the point where every clip of yours is pure genius. It's amazing.

TheRGMGuy01 This is easily the best comment I've ever received on any video. I'M SO HAPPY YOU NOTICED THE SUBTLE DETAILS like the ice domino that traps the lever and keeps the pivot track stable as well as the entirety of that starburst sequence. It's honestly hard for me to even imagine people thinking my clips are half-decent considering every time I upload a project I've already seen it so many times I'm sick of it. You're already a genius though btw, aspiring to reach my building level would just slow your building speed down by about 100% with my pace lol Also how do you articulate yourself so well pls tell

I guess this is what happens when machine builders try to build with dominoes That was ridiculously good! Loved the concept of this video, and how elegant all the moving K’nex devices were. It’s very fascinating seeing something that is generally not very controlled be used in ways to make all the movements seem more precise and intricate. My favourite clips were the two clips with gears. Very excellent work! :D

WHAT THIS IS INSANE!!!! That domino rally set clip was crazy, and that one by cwd with the books being reset was also insane. This is probably the coolest machine video I have ever seen, those tricks are freakin' UNBEATABLE. Stunning work. :D

Best domino video I've ever seen in my life. The gear domino clip that I was calling Joel as it worked blew my mind, along with the sliding pivot tracks (HOW?!!!!! GENIUS!!!!!!), the falling domino bridge (I had that idea like a year ago and just kept forgetting to try it XD), the book dominoes (You reset them and knocked them over again???? Insane!), the backwards dominoes (short but amazing), the domino square (how has no one thought of that before? Such a clever strategy), the machine sominod (reminds me of Spicing it Up :) ) and the first and last clip. AMAZING JOB from both of you and I'm sorry it took forever to leave a comment. This video deserves a comment so amazing that words can't be used to write it. Maybe domino builders will incorporate these ideas in their setups. 10/10, will watch again like twenty more times XD

Oh my gosh... Wow. I'm literally speechless. This is one of the best Rube Goldberg collabs I have ever seen. Every clip amazed me. I loved how so much thought was put into thinking ahead in the machines. The theme of the domino effect was incorporated so well... Just wow... BTW, the clip at 1:30 blew my mind!

This is too good to be real.......when I saw the name, I already knew this video had creativity standards which were way above imagination. Whose idea was it? Starting off ,the first clip had way too much good things in the first place. I almost missed the multi use domino at 0:22 the first time. There was so much craziness going on in a few milliseconds. The best part was the dominoes at 0:20 which topple and then fall as a flat sonimod AND are then used as a track for the marble. And also the domino tricks in the clip are worth mentioning. I wouldn't believe the second clip was impossible if I didn't see it with my own eyes. In the third clip, the domino and direction changer-reuse was good. Alright the next few seconds of the next clip WERE AMAZING. The launchers blew my mind . The speedwall use was creative here. And then the ball goes BACK to the track while the speed wall breaks. In the next clip the circle field and then the knex device blew mind. The timing on the next one was INCREDIBLE. I like how there's so much happening at once and just when I thought this clip had finished, you brought another amazing trick in it. I like how the dominoes fell after being toppled in this one and just when I thought it was over, YOU MADE ANOTHER BALL GO ON THE TRACK. That was genius. I wish the lighting on this one was better. The insanity was so high that I couldn't understand anything. The pivot tracks and the timing both BLEW my mind in this one. And when I realized it, if the blue track wasn't tilted, the ball would haven't made it. TheInvention11, you are a genius. I know I have already said that but whatever. I had my mouth drop open in many of the clips, but this one was a special one. First the gears toppled, then they are brought together and then they are used again. And just as I thought their uses were over, there were more of them! The wooden things in this clips were so multi-used! First, there toppled like dominoes, then they were toppled BACKWARDS and then AGAIN in the front! And when some of them changed their positions, I lost it. Alright,I am gonna be real here. This clip either lacked dominoes or else it was too much for my tiny brain to understand. The multi use spinner-thingy was cool. This clip REDEFINED what you can do with gears. First they are toppled and used again, nothing new since I had just seen it before. But then, they are dropped and used as circular tires to topple the dominoes. And then AGAIN they are toppled AND used as gears with two other gears. That clip was waaaaaay too good. Ok, at first I was like what's going on? Because I had thought the marble would come from the left. Ignoring that though, first many things are used as dominoes and then the closing book and the launching ball were pretty good. AND THEN YOU MADE THEM STAND AGAIN and then used the book as a track for the marble. That was nothing new, however , I didn't expect that. AND THEN THEY TOPPLED AGAIN. That blew my mind. Of course, the ending was great with dominoes + machines = domachinoes sign and the domino pyramid toppling. My favorite trick was definitely the book one. It was too gooooooood to be real. I had to watch it in another phone at .5x speed to understand the craziness of the tricks. Both of you deserve thousands of subscribers. You definitely proved jackofallspades98 wrong here, dominoes ARE NOT BORING , EVEN IN MACHINES.

Alright, let's be honest, it's great 👍! I love the getto stuff just cause of the ingenuity. Using playing cards, domino, plastic cup, book... It's great because you personally made it. It's not like if a big channel made it, their producing capability, budget would just ubdermine it. They would just predorder some already made stuff. You made all of that by yourself so good job, it shows dedixation. *plus, your channel basicaly skip the language barrier*
