I would LOVE to see Chauncey compete again in top tier shape! When he's rolling before some fatigue kicks in, he really is a PROBLEM for anyone. Very efficient player and he brings the DOG energy. Tough to beat!

@@Next22Chapter I totally agree he has that DOG energy but he has to work on that stamina so he's not fatigued mid game that was a struggle for him also in this matchup he played a good game he was hitting shots and getting to the basket but he exhausted himself once he works on that stamina he is gonna be top tier 💯

@@AustinTV43 it’s very interesting to see some guys play 1v1’s. It’s DRASTICALLY different than 5v5 basketball because you’re always attacking and always being attacked. With an open court to pull up any type of move. Even top tier pros we’ve played against have burnt out fast in 1v1’s because of the style the game is played it however they’re in peak shape even. Explosive athletes tend to burn out faster in 1’s but in 5’s you’ll see them play the whole game no problems. Pacing definitely plays a big part in these games.!

Hey sam! Thanks for the comment as always on TNC 🔥 -- To express the purpose for the technical, Chauncey said "You're soft as a b****!" to the referee. In all honesty we have to protect the officials are our events and if we dont have a rebuttal for negative actions taken towards them (although we know how Chauncey speaks and his intentions behind words aren't as they come off) refs dont know Chauncey like us so we've given the power to officials to rule technicals resulting in a free-throw. Behind the scenes during these seasons, certain games take significantly longer to complete because of player interactions with referees. Lots of disagreements with officials and sometimes negative words thrown at them. It makes the officials job way harder as well as ours. Also, We're on time schedules to complete the games with our gym rental so we can't have arguments every other play. A lot of stuff flies because we want everyone to be authentic but we can't allow things like fighting, threats, physical contact that's out of line, excessive negative words towards someone and also aggressive treatment to officials. As we strive to become a professional platform, we encourage authenticity and passion but have to figure out where the lines need to be. We're still learning! Learning with everyone in the comments to and people who watch the video. We adjust every season and continue to try to find a way to deliver the best product to the fans. Aiming to be the professional platform we want to be is how we're going to sustain longevity, interest professionals to participate and also collaborate with sponsors/brands who can really propel us forward to expand. We love responding and giving feedback and I hope you can understand out POV! AMAZING GAME between these two!

I understand where you’re coming from 100% but you know what you’re getting with a guy like Chauncey. I just hate seeing techs in a 1v1 setting it’s kind of ridiculous. I agree with everything you said but maybe it’s best to leave a guy like that out altogether if respect and professional courtesy within competition is what you’re aiming for. I hope he sees the difference in the way you guys do things and can grow from this and maybe be inspired to play the game in a better way, but maybe the best way to respect the community you’ve built refs, players, staff, and fans included, is to leave people who have built a reputation on toxicity out altogether, and then maybe just maybe you will use your power to affect the entire community and not just the next chapter. Even if just a little. I’m not trying to dig at y’all tho, I absolutely love everything y’all do and appreciate all the work and though that goes into the content you produce. Just like to give some food for thought after most videos. 🫡

I completely agree that he was out of pocket but I feel like they should stop the video, confront him, shut that shit down, tell him that’s not how they do things here and if he continues to disrespect people he can leave. TNC is some of if not the best basketball out rn and it really is a privilege to be on it unless you’re already a massive basketball KZfaqr. I would rather see the people given the opportunity to be on it held to standard than to be scared by the thought of a technical foul in a 1v1.

When there is money involved you always should have refs, you gotta keep the game civil and somewhat respectful, otherwise it would get out of hand with constant hacking and violations because there is money on the line.

refs should be in, otherwise it is way too much a game of "I am the bigger dog than u, so I call foul everytime I might miss". seen it way too many times in yt hoops and it sucks alot more than a ref having a bad day and missing a couple calls.
