It's "mouth of the wolf, eyes of the lamb"

I have to tell you that I really really enjoy your Sleep Token reactions, you give me a different perspective on their songs.

To me I interpret "salt from my hands" as a couple things. Because he talks about being a statue, unable to grow and experience life, the salt reminds me of when a field is salted. The soil is destroyed and unable to allow anything to live and flourish from it. I also think about how the salt can be from tears, Vessel's despair, and how it's trapped him in this state of never moving forward from his shadow. For many people it can almost feel cathartic to remain in that state, but if you never leave it can be even further damaging to your mental health, so the rain cleanses the salt, the despair, the self-sabotage. Seeing it as self-sabotage connects back to salting a field too! Just what I think of from that lyric

I love your lyric interpretation. I would have never thought about sun rays and thunder in storms for "refracted in light, reflected in sound". It does paint a picture in your head. Vessel is so clever with his lyrics. Thank you for not letting some of them go over my head. 🤣

In Atlantic, he talks about blood on his hands and bandage up the trenchs. Maybe it connects? A lot of the music connect in interesting ways. All of the lyrics ive read have always said mouth of the wolf, eyes of the lamb. May have to look into that.

She's like the rain, cleansing him of his pain. She's his solace, his redemption from what he's been through. Least thats what I hear

New sub ... enjoying watching you discover how awesome Sleep Token is....your theories are interesting, if you knew a little more about the story you'd see how so many people relate and can draw their own conclusions based in what the lyrics mean to them. Just better to look up the lyrics in the album vs the lyric videos. The part you ralked about the rose should have been a wolf 🐺. Yes, Vessel creates such awesome imagery with his lyrics. It probably has to do with past experiences which affected the thoughts leading to condemnation in himself but because someone loves him and sees only the right and hope in him gives him hope instead of being dissolved by the past he's being built up for the future by love of another, I can see now why water is the main theme of his philosophy. its fluid like a dream

he is the statue on stage. reflected in light. he gives you the sound. the audience is who touches him. double entendre. we give him fame; a venomous serpent that will destroy him.

I enjoy your reactions to sleep token. There is so many layers and soooo much depth in his songs and lyrics. For each of us to expand upon according to our own knowledge and interests. From my perception, I can see that vessel has knowledge in the kaballah, chemistry, alchemy, Christianity, esoteric wisdoms, astronomy, philosophy, mystic symbolism, geometry etc. It's pretty freaking fun just listening to his words and being in awe of his brilliance. 😊

I’ve also heard that the “Rain ” could also be a reference to a woman in a particular manner.

God I hate lyric videos. They rush them out as soon as a song is released and don't care about accuacy. Not to mention they effect the audio quality. I would suggest using the bands upload and lyrics on google or genius.
