Reminds me of my mum and dad. Múm is a 93 year old Cork Catholic woman from Kinsale my dad an English protestant from Kent. She has altheimers now but still has a lot of fight in her and a great right hook. Mum and dad worked in a factory in England in 1950s they got married and been fighting ever since, just like the English and Irish they fight but they kind of tolerate one another. Mum and dad you never saw a stronger love. I swear it. My dad has always loved Ireland and it turned out his ancesters were Irish potatoe famine refugees from Ireland so I guess he saw something in mum that he could not resist. I drive my kids crazy telling them about Ireland and how great it is. Mum brainwashed us about it. I think the proudest day of my life was getting my Irish passport. I can die happy now :)
