She is quite possibly the smartest super model. At 21 she was listed among the 100 "smartest americans"...granted that's subjective, but nevertheless quite impressive to even be considered. Especially for a model. She had a bad reputation back then for "being difficult", but I think it's coz most people expected her to be just another vacuous pretty model. But I've read a lot of ordinary folks comments who've crossed paths with her, that she's very genuinely pleasant, down to earth, witty and very cool. I love her!! 👌

I think rather than a sly reference to the two Prague defenestrations she may have been slyly referring to the death of Jan Masaryk (son of T. G. Masaryk), shortly after the Communists took power in 1948... he fell out of a window but it's still unclear if it was suicide, an accident, or actually political murder. Or also a reference to the death of the writer Bohumil Hrabal, who also died by falling out a window.

@@beth12svist that was the 17th century one right? I recall there being three defenestrations in my history book - though I also recall the odd fact that the second one was only a quasi defenestration since all (or maybe all but one) were already dead when tossed out the window. I always thought that was rather funny … funny ‘amusing’ if not quite funny ‘haha’. Though there’s a funny ‘haha’ later - when the HRE (Ferdinand II, I think) raised one of the men who survived the final D to the rank of nobility, dubbing him Count of Highfall, or Baron Falldown, or something like that. I’m sure it wasn’t meant to be funny (the Hapsburgs not being known for humor), but I recall laughing out loud in my AP Modern Euro class.
