I was in this race playing In VR (daytonarussky ). Gorgeous visual time progression and a ton of fun with the tire strategy. I agree with you 100%, these races can be fantastic with a little bit of creativity and effort. Like Deployed.

It never made sense to me that we're putting far more fuel than is needed to complete a race. Fuel levels are what we could be adjusting before a race, not camber angles and spring rates.

Agree fully. Those 15 minute dailies are just carnage and do not challenge anyone to think how they actually drive. Therefore lowering the quality of racing. Too bad I missed this lobby race. Maybe next time.

Hell of a fun! I'm a C driver, just started. I just want to point out the help that you provide me with the series of "last2Aplus". As a new driver my heartbeats are in the sky. Sometimes my legs are shaking. There is times I can't drive anymore from anxiety and going back to your videos to gain some confidence. I race in VR, the races are very stressful most of the time trying not hit someone or if somebody is close behind me. Your videos is my inspiration,clean race no matter the cost. I checked, there have been a grand total of 2 race Cs (out of 119) that had all three racing tyres available: The very first rain race at the start of 2023 (Gr.4 at Le Mans) you could pick any compound, and there was a 2022 Gr.2 race at Kyoto that was the same. Neither of those had any mandatory tyres though. So yeah, you're right, it'd definitely be something fresh and different.

FWIW - The last round of the GT cup at Le Mans, GT2, PD started the game with only 2 laps or so of fuel. 1st race I wondered why the leaders pitted on lap1, thinking the fuel level was a glitch I carried on - found out it wasn't on lap 3 :O(

Love the whole concept of your race in this video. One thing I believe is the Pen system needs to change for track limits. There be 3 warnings first and on the 4th you get a pen, but the whole slowing down marker needs to be eliminated. The time pen should be added to your final time as I real life. And for more severe Pens a drive through an a black flag should be given for extreme aggressive driving. All races should have realistic damage on as this would almost eliminate dirty drivers.

I totally agree with you Kie, the Japanese seems to lack creativity. They are not utilising the available tracks as well, the Le Croix variations are rarely seen.

Since GT7 is a fully online game, PD will have more statistical information than they have ever had. They will know the popularity of certain race-combos... Must have a different agenda(?)

I don't know why they can't just ask the top sim streaming guys to create a feature race each week - I'm sure they would offer their thoughts for nothing so it's a win-win.

Kie..... I feel this has been a problem since the last year on GT Sport which also suffered the same round-a-about of the same tracks, and it has carried on now to GT Sport. Why do we get very little daily tracks from the many different formats of Tokyo or Willow springs ? and if we do get tracks from them its mostly daily A with crap hairdryer engine. Plus I feel that the Sainte-Croix Circuit versions track should be upgraded with wet weather to make it a outstanding race.

Switched to iracing miss gt7 to be honest, might have to have 2 sim setups .

Great combo, not my favorite track but that's a fun race, lot's of strategic options

At this point Im asking myself if PD have to pay the racetrack owner each time they use a genuine track . Another thing I've noticed is that each time they remove tuning its a lowsy daily race week.. 97% of the time..Im out on a limb here, I know, but it's the truth. Meaning the past 12 month were not very fun, eh .. my 2 cents anyways

Imo daily races in reality are weekly and thats the biggest issue . If races changed every day like they used to it would be much better. Having 3 same races for 7 days is way too long it gets too stale

Yeah, it just boggles me why aren't there night races? Or day/night, night/day transitions, like what's the point of investing literally millions of dollars into real time global illumination technology (making every shader/texture PBR instead of just baked in texture) and 3D realistic volumetric cloud system that is actually volumetrically realistic to the real world locations and not use any of it in game mode which is mostly played (sport) ? Like might as well otherwise just have baked global illumination and shadows into the texture and replace 3D volumetric cloud sky system with sky dome with static texture... As literally there is no difference between start and the end of the race in light/sky.... So that we can get 4k 120 fps LOCKED... And why don't they make sim racing type a "daily C". An actual sim racing daily. So you have road car "daily A", arcade sim "daily B" (as daily B currently is maybe a mix between current "daily B" and " daily C ") and actualy proper "accessible" sim racing " daily C". Game technology is good enough to actually have proper siming. Basically exactly something like this. Heck i'd push those laps to 20-25. Give people less incentive to push on overtake and give more incentive on smooth driving and proper race pacing which creates some great overtakes and allows drivers to improve and hone in their race craft. And one thing i'd definitely love to see PD improve regarding their technologies is... COLLISION technology and penalty system. Penalty system not only as in penalties from stewards but penalties as in car damage. Doesn't have to be super duper realistic but realistic enough that will make player think twice "shit I better not do a risky overtake or act like a donky trying to squeeze where it's impossible to overtake, I don't want to damage my body and waste seconds in pit to fix" as well as proper collision physics action/reaction, so that when someone bumps you gently, you don't suddenly lose all grip for 5 seconds straight sliding into Barry R and net code collision technology.

Mate why would they change it! Most people will play it all week anyways even if they don’t like the races! And that’s the problem! They won’t change it unless they see the numbers go down on crap weeks! But Yh I understand it’s your job but the other guys who seem to think they gotta do daily races all week no matter what!

They put down some server at Europe and south america. Game is stsrted to dying, only chance to make money is using less server as possible.
