@@chunnibyougirl6548 layer by layer, using a heat gun or letting it dry could work. Yes it would take a while but they have insane patience. So theoretically, a brick could be made by doing it layer by layer.

Get a pumkin, cover the eyes with glass so the glue does not spill out, cut a hole in, put dry ice and elmers glue in, Put yellow food coloring in.

Funny thing. Elmer's glue will hold at -25deg. At that temperature all of the gorilla glue, super glue, crazy glue, gorilla tape etc just turn to white powder and fall apart. Living in Alaska we learn that quickly. Contact cement will hold on at zero. Haven't tried it at any colder temps.

Dry Ice temperature is extremely cold at -109.3°F or -78.5°C. Always handle Dry Ice with care and wear protective cloth or leather gloves whenever touching it. An oven mitt or towel will work. If touched briefly it is harmless, but prolonged contact with the skin will freeze cells and cause injury similar to a burn.

@@harleykeiner4095 the heat definitely wouldn't dry it more so melting the glue instead of hardening it with cold air. if something is glued together and u are trying to detach it you would heat up the glue so it would separate.

I remember making slime from glue during a science demonstration at a boys and girls club. Lol Callie thought she could burn her hand without feeling it when the only thing actually happening is the glue is adding a layer of insulation, thus preventing the heat from getting to her hands.

This is actually an issue I’ve experienced working with hot metal from welding while wearing gloves, you don’t feel it getting hot but by the time you realized it was hot, your skin was really hot and it took some time to tear off that glove...

1 question, wouldn't it have been better to use cool air, like a fan, to dry the glue on her hand? Doesn't using heat just make it take longer to dry, as it's not cooling down quick enough

I HAVE THE SAME QUESTION! I think they are not pretty smart… also she said she could burn her hand even though the layer of glue was literally stoping the heat to touch her hand… yeah not really smart guys

The solvent in Elmer's glue is water, perhaps once it dries up you can replace it with a faster drying solvent like ethanol

Freeze drying...not a great idea. Some stuff that you freeze dry will get all over the place in the machine, and that may be difficult to clean. Speaking of which, try to freeze dry frozen juice concentrate, lol. (Messy, yes, but if you use a nonstick liner in the tray, then you may end up with an interesting result.)
