I don't know if this is true but I feel like it is harder for idol bands to get public recognition and somehow they finally made it. Rooftop is such a beautiful song, I'm so happy they won. Yeah korean bands get more chill fans/ casual listeners whereas idols have a solid fan base so winning is hard because voting/ streaming is harder

For those who have no idea. Please if you see your idol promoting at the same time as N.flying and your faves get their wins, look at the back... Jaehyun always there smiling and cheering happily for your faves no matter what. He sometimes dance and janming to the song and being sooo funny on stage. Now he's not the one dancing to another song, he own the trophy and stay to do an encore. He truly is something we do not deserve. N.flying is always OT5 even without Kwangjin.

they give their youth in trainee basement for 5 to 9years and after debuted for almost 4 years they got their 1st win ㅠㅠ there was so many downs in their careerㅠㅠ but the lesson is never give up and always working hard 👍 sky is nothing to believe.. there's no limit.. fly higher 🌟 nflying teach me that ㅠㅠ

The last time i found out abt nflying was thru weekly idol which they came together with day6..they are a whole another level of crackheads..and that guy who was crying is actually a funny and smiley person thruhout the whole show..now watching him cry i cant relate..that means they work their butt off to win their 1st music trophy ever..i recommend u guys watch the weekly idol epi 344 show..u will not regret!

Jaehyun is the definition of a dramatic crackhead but he's also been working for years at what he does. His sister was actually an Idol too and she was unable to get her first win and he trained for so many years only to go through the immense amounts of turmoil when he finally debuted. It's amazing how strong and lighthearted he's been for N.Fia, and I'm sure there were many times where he cried behind our backs so we wouldn't see him struggle. I hope you come to stan him and the rest of our amazing, talented, weirdos.

Talk about somebody being funny, they have me laughing so hard that I physically hurt and I enjoy every second of it. They are so hilarious that I refuse to watch them out in public in fear that someone may think I'm crazy because of my frequent outbursts of laughter.

You can see that Seunghyub was trying to be calm, he's trying not to cry, he needs to be strong for other members...he's the leader after all, and their first win is from his own song...he must be so proud, so does other members..congrats again, guys..you deserved it and let's do even better next time and hit the rooftop again ^^

They had so many hardships. From being left behind in their own company, beinh pressured to be like their brothers FTIsland and CNBLUE, from 2 years hiatus, from adding new member, from performing on the streets, clubs, and so on, and the latest- the issue of their bassist which lead to leaving the band. I am so proud of them for enduring all of these and for not giving up. I cried. Yes. I cried. I've been a fan even before debut and I saw how they struggled to be recognised and appreciated. They suffered and endured much. These guys deserve all of these. Congratulations. I'm a proud fan here.

Jiminshhi is ART according to what I researched, he dated his own fan site since debut and fans said that they were sexually harassed by him too. However, the company denied the sexual harassment condition..then he voluntarily left the group to not make the group suffering. Edit: fans said they were sexually harassed at the fan meeting..

Harassment issue was denied by FNC and was not proven to be true. However Kwangjin left the band to protect them from all the hate that the "fans" are throwing. So sad.

It is so tough for small company groups to rise. When people said big 3 privilege didn't exist, this is what they missed. Ofcourse those big three groups also worked hard, but they didn't have to deal with feeling like a nobody, with no one paying attention to them and other obstacles small company groups face. Congrats boys.

FNC isn't a small company tho, it's just band isn't as popular as idol. FNC has many well known artists like F.T. Island, CNBlue, and AOA. There are also many popular idols from smaller company than FNC, it all depends on how the company promote them.

CLC waited 1427 days to get first win .. N flying almost waited as long having to wait 1386 days. The Show is making those dreams come true ..if you're a group that hasn't won in the first 2 years it doesn't mean its over. I reckon full member Hotshot with Taehyun and Sungwoon both back will get hotshot their first win becoming the group that had to wait the longest (1589 days and counting).

Technically not the longest (unless they past by U-Kiss with 2000+ days if I remember correctly), but definitely one of the longest. Rooting for Hotshot to get their first win soon! Edit: and Nuest too, with Nuest W winning at 2000+ days ( + more if counting Nuest as a whole group). Well, it did and we couldn't be more proud. I've been with since their Korean debut and have waited for this day to come for years. Congratulations N.flying! You totally deserved this. Their song was released December last year and get to perform again on music shows because of surprisingly rise up of their song 'Rooftop' in music charts. And now they got their first ever win. I am so proud of this band.😣😣😣

Same feels here. This win made me cry. I've been a fan of theirs ever since so I've seen how they climbed from just being a front act to CNBLUE and FTISLAND (label mates) concerts to having their own concerts and this - being recognized by so many people. I am so happy for them.

Believe it or not, the guy you saw crying always smiles, laughs and dances in front of camera. I started crying seeing him cry. Jaehyun is so precious. I've seen that the member who smiles the most in a group always cries the most when the group gets its first win.

@@notherenotme How can even they manipulate the charts when FNC alreary given up to them and decided to send them to Japan after this? If they manipulate the charts, they should've do that with SF9 or Cherry Bullet which is currently promoting and has much larger fandom than N.Flying. And I think FNC doesn't need to do any chart manipulation because they are a huge company and that will lead them on having bad image in Korea, I think they're not that dumb to taint their name and image.

@@notherenotme don't forget, this song is usually played in public places bgm. Such as cafes, bars, the store streets ect. I know there are other Koreans that had said this song was catchy and whole heartedly like it as they sing along with it. It rises up slowly on the charts (so it didn't just BOOM out of no where) and the more people are curious as it rises up, they will click on the song to hear it too and started to like it and when it was at the top, of course more will continue to click on it. Another thing is that the song is promoted alot on social media which was definitely one of the reasons.

@@notherenotme They didnt manipulate the chart. Many checked their song after watched their mv ads on youtube, twich, and other. Those people promoted N.Flying thru word of mouth. And someone also posted about them on Pann and it was trending. Please just support these hardworking boys like what Hongki said. And Hongki also said their company didnt do any manipulating. Also guess what, many people were supporting them and keep hoping Rooftop to rise. All of them are happy for N.Flying bcs they slowly rising in the chart. But right when they enter top 3 and beat down Hwasa and Itzy, many haters appeared and even camping in the comments section to post hate and downvoted (dislike) the positive comments. They even when to articles about N.Flying just to downvote them
