If you were at the 2021 Once Upon a Time in LA music festival, you were there to watch live performances and have a good time.
But for Drakeo the ruler, his night went differently…
Drakeo arrived at the Banc of California Stadium in his Rolls Royce Dawn to perform in his hometown. After which his entourage of six men and one security guard were searched and stripped of any weapons.
At around 8:30 pm, Drakeo was backstage chilling with his homies when someone yelled,
“f*** the Stinc team.”
And that's when it all began…

I was there. We were all waiting for YG to go up next. I was towards the front at the main stage. We saw the lights of ambulance and police roll up off the main Street adjacent to backstage area where the main stage was. We couldn’t hear any commotion. Everyone was waiting for the show to continue and the people running the concert never made any announcements about anything. We knew something was goin mostly because the police helicopter showed up and kept circling. Then the lights and the helicopter dipped. They started breaking down YG’s set and just playing music on shuffle it seemed like. People jumped on twitter and that’s how word in the crowd started to spread about what was going on. People were already saying he had been killed. A lot of us that found out started to leave the area because we knew the show was over while others stayed waiting. The other second stage was still going at the time when we were walking out because we could hear the music still.

@@Benno919 yup everyone just started walking out and left the venue. The promotion company and the venue staff never said a word about anything. No announcements.I knew it was over when they started to break down YG’s set. Plus people were also saying apparently that 50 cent (closer) wasnt even there and was in Vegas I think so it was clear that it was done. Twitter came through too because it’s always a hassle getting out of that area after an event ends and it was packed.

I work in the business and there’s Some hella sus shit led to his death. How TF is the venue security not able to break up or even completely prevent the fight to begin with? Usually ,a show of that caliber with numerous big name artists and thousands of attendees. In order to get to the “back stage” aka “Vip area” First off you gonna need a laminated pass to get by the checkpoint(s) and there’s usually cops as well as quite a few event staff and private security witch somehow an entire mob got passed. THERES SOMETHING BIG WERE NOT BEING TOLD

The video said "an object that looked like a knife". That could be anything from a broken piece of wood or sharp metal or some other piece of garbage. People leave items like that around the workplace or certain places outside just in case something violent may occur. That sharp object was placed there strategically before the show started.

He wasn’t comfortable. No one was catching him lacking, man was moving on point. He was at work. Who else ever got killed at their own show/ event? This is on live nation, how tf is a mob of 60 ppl attacking someone backstage who’s one of the headlining performers? Where’s the police/ security? They were limited to 15 ppl entourages and searched at the gate. No one had their tools. This was a set up
