Lol so true and what's si terrible is that i didn't discover the importance of farming tons of batteries until my 1 mistake where battery respources became rare and i had to put them on the battery recharger instead of building batteries on the fly from plenty of respurces to build the fabricator and batteries. So i went out with the mini submarine and the drone puller fully charged. I decided to explore an opposite end of the map very deep. I found a Reaper Leviathan and multiple were in the area. I was so far i couldn't giveup. i forgot to pay attention to may batteries, so ny stasis gun ran out of blasts, my mini submarine was broken from the leviathan, and the drone puller was out of batties from using during open combat. Since resources were becoming scarce, i couldn't let my vehicles blow up, nor allow them to be floating junk. I ended up swimming over 1000 meters back, perhaps it was 3000-4000 meters. It took a long time to swim back, and i was also very deep so i almost died from no oxygen, but fortunately god blessed the landscape in game with bubbles that can restore oxygen near heat pockets, so i made it back up without running out of oxygen. This is when i realized ny lack of resources and my need to create backups before death, rather than when at risk.

I also learned to take supplies with me so i can build a small quick room structure so i can swim deep and use random small room points deep in the ocean to get oxygen when so deep without needing the luck of bubbles from heat pockets. I have also died with my vehicles tons of meters out, with minimal resources, and had to swim all the way back to them with only the drone puller built.

Thats why I put a hab in every single biome, and, if im brave enough, also in the... V O I D

It all makes sense now :O

@@TheLastBacon I believe that the PDA entry says that all other weapons were removed from standard emergency recipes, not Alterra or even civilian or teraforming groups' use. So if the Aurora didn't crash, there might be some available weapons for, say, finding the remains of the Degasi crew

In the german translation the pda says that there are types of weapons that are forbidden but dont tell what types. So the forbidden weapons could be nuclear or chemical weapons.

The gravity gun/zero point energy field manipulator (if you really want to call it that, you can but I won’t recommend it) was made using xen crystals and magnetic field’s and scrap medal from the rebels of earth at the time of the combine taking over, it was made at black Mesa east to move heavy weighted Objects in scrap yards. Pretty interesting if you ask me ( I’m mean, the propulsion cannon it probably more of a physics gun then the gravity gun. But the repulsion cannon is more of a gravity gun, also it’s orange :) )
