fun fact: There exists two pieces of concept art for an arctic "Crested Reaper" and "Ice Breaker (Reefback)." The Crested Reaper would have been a smaller, but smarter, orca-sized relative to its warmer water cousins that possessed thin, Chelicerate-like mandibles and used its head crest to knock surface prey into the water. The Ice Breaker was a Reefback variant that had a forward-facing crest that made it look like an Iceberg, and it would use its front weight to rise up and smash surface ice underneath it.

I don't know why but I really like the reaper being in the lilypads biome.

3:09 honestly the reefback should be in below zero, cuz if you think about it the reefback is the base game equivalent to whales, and whales like the blue whale for eg, will mainly stay in saltwater but can occasionally be found in antarctica. however, those antarctic blue whales are just a diff variant of the blue whale. but so is the reefback shown in the video. its a diff variation of the regular reefback. so antarctic reefback. it could very well fit in.

Would be cool to bring Riley into Below Zero as well! I miss him : (

Creatures from the first game were spawnable in early versions. And I think some were even used as substitute creatures in certain areas. It would make sense if they were left in for a while to test collision.

5:06 Imagine if reapers were like sand sharks and popped out of the ground when you got too close. That would be terrifying and it would definitely add a little bit more horror because you wouldn't know where they are gonna come from.

Yeah but you didn’t spawn the scariest Subnautica creature, the Warper. I actually wonder what happened to the Warpers, there’s no kharaa in Below Zero except for the Frozen Leviathan but surely they’d still be hanging around as a passive mob.

When i thought i could escape the reapers in below zero this mod ruined my hopes

Gotta say... I normally skip the adverts in the middle of these but I decided to watch this one anyway, and honestly - that "your peeper" mention - had me giggling out loud for ages. 😂

When the Seamoth took flight, I instantly thought of The Jetsons cartoon lol.

I had a horrable dream about subnoutica i was swimming in the abyss during the day time when i looked down and saw what looked like a mix between a shadow laviathan and a sand shark but it was thr size of the guardian leviathan and it was 100% silent and it was chargeing at me i quickly swam back to my cyclops and enterd throught the top hatch for some reason and the creature rammed the bottom sending me flying and i hit my head on the ceiling and fell when i got up and the cyclops alarm was going off and then the lights went out and water was filling the cyclops so i closed the big hatch and the one on the ladder i then ran to the helm (steering wheel) set the cyclops to ahead flank and turned the cyclops hard to port (left) and tried to dispatch a flare but it was out so i checked the cameras and the creature was nowhere i then looked throught the front and saw it aproching at full speed and it rammed the frount befor i could turn on the shield on i flew back a few feet as the cyclops said hull integrity critical i then got up to realize that the glass was cracking i looked around and saw no escape i then saw the engine was in critical condition so i opend the big hatch and water came rushing in i pulled myself in as the cyclops said hull integrity failure imminent abandon ship and swam to the my seamoth i got in and quickly headed tword the island i looked at the live camera footage behind the seamoth and saw the creature swimming tword me then the cyclops exsploded damaging the creature and it retreated i got to the island and was jumping for joy i than woke up in the cyclops hearing the alarm and the countdown was at 2 i said crap as the cyclops blew up and then i woke up for real happy it was just a dream

Imagine you’re in the void of below zero and then a reaper leviathan comes out from the depths and starts chasing you. That would be a cool and scary idea for a new mod or we could do it with the mod that adds subnautica creatures into below zero if they make it that the creatures can chase the player or attack the player and other creatures.

seamoth basketball. use the habitat builder to build a hoop above the water. get in your seamoth. if you're fast enough, your seamoth will go flying through the air after breaking the surface. the goal is to jump it through the hoop.

The teleport for the recall mod for the Seamoth can easily just have the Warper's warping effect placed in front of the vehicle that way it doesn't look like it's just popping out and into existence like the video showed. Edit: 9:48 to 9:56 you can literally make that a short and people would probably die laughing.
