Hello my friends! Today's episode of Modded Subnautica might be the most controversial TO DATE as we cover a slew of new vehicle mods the community has lovingly crafted. From a precursor sub to a literal car, all the way to.....well let's just say our first NSFW submarine.

@@TheLastBacon You know, in relation to what you said in the video, actually Renault is far from bankrupt. It's one of Europe's largest manufacturers and the Renault 5 was fairly successful I believe.

So the last sub... is "shaped", needs a lot of lubricant, penetrates though water and presumably, Reapers can grab its tip. Sounds perfectly reasonable, with no issues whatsoever. :)

I think what we lack now is just a spaceship with robotic companions that attack any local wildlife that gets near with guns to drive them away. My only problems with subnautica is how hard is for you to mine large amonuts of resources and store them for big projects, you can somewhat get around it by building a teleporter nework with mids, but I know the game was not design with this in mind.

I've been playing with the mantis for a while now and fun fact : it takes at least 10 seconds to repair 1 unit of health with the repair tool. To repair 1 reaper attack it takes at the very least 40 seconds. (So leviathans are still a threat, for your time) But the vehicle feels so good when you learn to pilot it. The speed is just awesome. (Also it's surprisingly not that expensive to craft, for a indestructible precursor ship.)

@@TheLastBacon In my playthrough with this mod, along with many others, I spent I least like 30 minutes just repairing this thing. (I have like 12h on the savefile.) Now it makes me wish there was a mod that upgrades the repair tool.

I believe Renault made a promo for modders to get this particular car (well, the "abovewater", normal variant) into various games, one of which is Subnautica. But its still creative and rather well-executed in the cases that I've seen :D
