Yup, that was a 13% pulley on a gen2 M45, John Cooper Motorsport intake with the cowling removed helps. The rev limit was increased to 7,800rpm too

Yeah, if you are going to raise the rpm limit Andy don't go for a 15% as it will overspin the charger

batousan Do you know the difference between the JCW and JCM exhaust mate? I have heard that the diameter after the silencers is what is different? Ie smaller on JCW but on JCM it remains the same size as the pipes going into the silencer?

On the JCW theres a flattened section on the Y piece to make the exhaust compatible with the Convertible and a silenced centre section.

It was a JCM intake, but I modified the cowl behind the filter (aka a massive hole) to pull more air in from the windscreen cowl vents. This made a lot more noise, there is less interior and sound deadening in this too as had the carpets out to remove excess weight etc.

The text should be enough to follow what you need to do when your under the bonnet. I did it without any images and I'm pretty average when it comes to mechanicals, you'll be alright :)

@@Fordfocusstmk3250I didn't run spacers at all on this car bud, just correct fitment wheels to achieve the fitment I wanted. It's quite a few years back so can't recall the exact deets, but just get yourself some verniers, do some measuring off your current setup and add in a bit of math and then go from there.

Yup, teflon coated m45, only running a -13% pulley so low boost pressure (JCW is -11%).

@@Jh-kv5fi modifed JCM intake and cowl mod will do that. I maybe had an extra silencer/cat on I think to make it pass noise test around this time so the exhaust is probably quieter too.
