Your game went pretty badly if Richard died from poison. In my timeline, I was able to rescue Richard from the poison, only for him to get eaten by the snake. Then, after I rescued him from that, he caught up to me later, and got eaten by a shark. Richard is one unlucky guy.

After learning the detailed timelines, it was so cool to go back and play the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes knowing that, while playing each game, the events from the other one were happening at basically the same time. It was cool to know that, while playing the RE 2 remake and when running away from Mr X, Nemesis was right outside chasing Jill. I feel like it made each game more scarier, knowing that there was another invincible monster close by.

@Richard HART No. In that version Sherry never even gets infected. Claire A Leon B has always been the more Canon version. But there are some elements of the other scenario that are Canon such as Mr. X after sherrys pendant.

In OG RE2, The driver of the truck that smashed into Leon's squad car was not a zombie, it was Robert Kendo. Same voice, same bite on his arm, same clothes minus the suspenders. But in fact, Robert Kendo wasn't even Robert Kendo, he didn't own the gun store. Fans just took the sign from the store and matched it with the guy in the store and it stuck. He just happened in there right after the wreck just like Leon did.

There's a plot hole in RE3. Jill supposedly visits RPD before the events of RE2. We see in the game that RPD had considerable aged with various doors and windows boarded up, some walls were falling apart, and the place was a mess. Yet they expect us to believe that RPD somehow magically renovated itself during the events of RE2'

Nope completely wrong claire A and Leon B IS CANON because the other games continues off it and it wouldn't make sense if it was the other way around especially the timeline of interactions and most of the remakes story's Aren't canon well mostly re2 remake wasn't ,it was more of a reimagin then the original from the looks of it they are doing the same for 3 remake the remake 1 was more canon and fateful but not with the way this guy put it in the video but he was close

Claire A/Leon B had the IMPORTANT and CANONICAL STORY ASPECTS in the original RE2. 1. Ada successfully getting a G-Virus Sample from Sherry's necklace 2. Sherry getting infected by G-virus powers by her mutated father (Justified in RE6 as her healing virus powers) 3. Ada was more believable to have survived in Leon B via being thrown away by Mr. X in a control panel, rather than falling off from a very high platform in the Leon A (Ada DID NOT HAVE any grappling gun until RE4)

Well William Birkin wasn't responsible for the zombie outbreak but it was Alpha team of Umbrella or hunk's team because as you said the virus spread in the water supply because of the rats. So all of this could have been prevented if hunk and his comrade properly killed william instead of firing at him so carelessly

@@begobertran9739 People complain about 4 being focused on over the top action like in these shitty movies but forget T-1000 Terminator Wesker with Matrix skills, a psychic powers using flame shooting ant Tyrant who transforms into a big ass ant within seconds and special agent Claire "Milla Jovovich" Redfield (Intro sequence) from Code: Veronica. Don't get me wrong, like RE4 it is fun to play but also like RE4 it has a shitty story which doesn't fit in the universe the three first games built.

Only issue is in resident evil 3, you can see the truck that explodes at the start of resident evil 2 in the background near the tram, so resident evil 2 had to have started before Jill and Carlos started the tram in resident evil 3

Trying to keep all the interactions between Jill and Barry and Chris and Rebecca in tact, in my headcanon Chris rescues Richard (so he can meet up with Rebecca) and Jill’s story except for meeting and healing Richard or playing the piano is pretty much all canon until she defeats plant 42 with Barry‘s help. Then, I imagine that that’s when Jill gets captured by Albert and Barry and some version of the cutscene where Jill finds out Albert is the traitor and Barry is working for him played out, albeit in the guest house (where Albert canonically appears at regardless.) The reason Jill is the one captured is so Chris can save Rebecca from the hunter in the mansion. Chris saves Jill and then she defeats the final boss so she can have something consequential to do after sitting on the sidelines for the last 3 sections. This makes almost all cutscenes with all characters canon, albeit with some fudging of settings/timeline. Also, Chris’ scenario heavily implies that Jill was captured in the beginning bc of her gun on the floor but we all know that’s not the canon we’re going with, plus it doesn’t make sense to me that Chris somehow dropped his own gun between the intro cinematic and getting inside the mansion

if i remember correctly, the helicopter in RE2 that crashes down is because a cop on the RCPD accidently shoots and kills the pilot hovering above. Although, in REmake2 it's not identified how. Also the clock tower and RCPD are across town from each other

Clearly it wasn't, a Chopper that got hit by a Missile wont be Fully in tact, it wouldve been Exploded in the Air.. As Roy Mentioned above that Chopper Pilot was killed by a Police that was asking for Rescue and accidently killed the Pilot because Zombies Rushed to him

Leon has the most screen time, 3 games all him as the main character/player, 1 cameo npc role, 3 movies 1 sharing with Claire, one all him with Ada, the last was with Chris. all in all his the most developed character in the series. though I would've liked to see a bit more about Carlos and Hunk in some more games in the franchise.

Yeah storywise and its canon compared to the remake its better but gameplay is eh still lovable just not for people that don't know how to play but re2 "remake" is mostly just a reimaging of what happened so its not really canon if you want to explore the real story i suggests looking at playthroughs of the original claire A then leon B.

One thing that was in the original story is that ALL of RE3 up to where you continue RE3 with Carlos happened before any of RE2. When you Continue RE3 with Carlos is suppose to be 24 hours after RE2 ends. So, RE3 started 24 hours before RE2 and continued 24 hours after RE2.

I never got one thing.... and maybe it's explained somewhere but.... How come the first zombie and dog attacks which lead STAR to be sent into the woods in the first place. How come those families and hitchhikers never re-animated as zombies ? I mean it has been going on for months... you telling me none of those bodies found ended up turning into zombies ? Can anyone shed some light ?

Maybe umbrella retrieved the corpses?! I mean there were reports but thats all we know.... also another theory is maybe the t virus wasn’t as strong? So the victims wouldn’t really turn yet that is until the virus was completed

Umbrella is really good at covering up their tracks, there were many other incidents in the comics(canon or not) before Racoon city that will never be known to the public

Some people never got the chance to be reanimated as zombies because they were totally eaten beyond reanimation (like, they have their brains consumed, which makes them unable to turn). In the Arklay Mountains (outskirts of Raccoon City) there is not a bunch of people living, so the infection could be better controlled by Umbrella, and the ones who got caught by the monsters, if not retrieved by Umbrella employees, ended up being completely consumed. That's my theory.

Retcon for RE2 (Because of REmake 2): 1. Leon never meets Sherry until the end of the game 2. Leon and Claire meet Mr. X 3. This is minor but there was never a zombie in the back seat in the remake, they just crash instead. 4. Ada kissed Leon.

It's not retcon, the RE2make is not canon, it's a reimagining and it takes place in a parallel universe, Kadoi, the director confirmed and the producers confirmed that the game doesn't replace the original, the original is still the canon one, his video is canonically correct.

MabiNerd i think the best way to enjoy them (and as a preface, I can’t guarantee that this is going to be effective for you) is to treat them as a separate entity all on its own; pretend that the video game Resident Evil doesn’t exist and you have a decent series. I feel anyway. Again, your mileage may (hella) vary lol.

Shaun -Shonix- Panado not even close the last two movies the enemies were the red queen and Wesker was a good guy then LITERALLY in the last movie the red queen is now a good person and weaker is a bad guy again oh and he is no longer leader of Umbrella.
