Wow - that seafood and chips were criminally expensive!. The birds are seagulls. I had forgotten how hilly Newcastle is. And those waves looked pretty angry. You're sensible to get that salt off the car. Nothing rusts it faster. I'm enjoying your trip so far. 🙂

The building at 1.06 years ago we had to replace some round bar diagonal bracing in the framework surrounding the aircon units on the roof but they wouldn't fit in the elevator so we had to carry about 30 of them up the stairs. Man, that killed me!! Nice view from the top but!

I used to go the Hunter Street Mall and also walk all down Hunter Street and look in the shops, they used to have a music shop where you could buy vinyl records, I would buy a few albums, it was good.... should go there again sometime soon, see what is around. Thanks for sharing this cool video Robbie.

Yes, it is! 2-3 hours drive to Sydney, lots of beaches and parks to drive to. Stadium and sports centre, shopping centres etc.

if you have to choose a suburb to live from New Castle, Wollongong and Central Coast, Which suburb will you select and what are the reasons for that?

I choose the Merewether area in Newcastle being waterfront and short drive, ride to different shopping centre. I've been to Wollongong and Central Coast but only on the popular spots.

@@Abroadero Actually I'm asking for living in next 3 years not for a short vacation. I want to compare just only regional areas. That means without Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Wollongong is very close to the Sydney for sure. What about whether, local community, job opportunities, safety, public transport and other facilities, house rent and so on....
