The fact that Librarian doesn't stop talking to scream but rather chooses to continue talking much louder then normal is probably one of the best parts of these videos. The shadow figure under the streetlight was probably one of the creepiest things because Librarian originally had no idea that it was even a person until coming back later for a picture. These videos always are amazing to watch and I mean ALWAYS!

To me, the pinnacle of creepy/comfy is Laundromats at night. The massive open windows and isolation mean *anyone* could be watching you from outside, and you'd never have any idea. But the shining fluorescent lights piercing through the dark and the silent community of the quiet strangers with you provides the comfiness of protection from the outside.

It's never the actual jump scares it's the yell from my man who scares the shit out of me

When you mentioned that you could hear distant trains as your way of telling other people even existed, it brought to mind a terrifying prospect of being the "last person on Earth" but constantly coming across evidence that someone was there just moments before. Hearing traffic that goes quiet as soon as you reach within a few blocks of the street, things rustling in another room, distant trains. I believe you touch on this a little bit with some liminal space videos, but it only now just hit me of how uniquely disquieting that is. It's make a great game!

rarely a map in gmod can scare me, I just get used to it, but this one just filled me with dread. The feeling of being lost is so heavy, I remember getting lost when sleeping in public transport on the way home from my swimming courses, I was like 11 and I got so scared. What an amazing map

This is a very unique feeling map, I think I hardly ever see maps that take place at a narrow dusk/dawn, it gives it an eerie realism that I'm not used to from gmod maps. Really good blend of the comfy/creepy feeling on this one.

I love these kinds of maps and seeing you play them is a lot better than some other KZfaqr because they’ll just scream at the first scare, curse maybe, and probably skip a lot of things. While you take your time and make it feel all the more real and creepy yet comfy, and I love how you analyze it. I do find it more entertaining how you react to a scare, it feels a lot more real and genuine than other KZfaqrs. Love this channel and I can’t wait to see more

Even with a good PC these maps will croak and die under VR conditions for me. It's always been my dream to properly experience a creepy, atmospheric map in VR. I'm the type to also want to do urban exploration but I've never had the opportunity to do so yet.

One time i was going home in a train at night, and it was kinda cool watching into the darkness, but you miss the scenery you get during the day. I remember being really tired as well though. Where i am, during the fall it looks really depressing anyway, so yeah.

These "You fall asleep during public transit" settings always remind me of the Langoliers.

Train nerd back again,about those seemingly out of place overhead crossing above the tracks,the most likely reason they did that probably is to avoid a level crossing (place where the rails and walkway/road are at the same level). This would want to be avoided because #1: to avoid accidents,people are stupid sometimes and there will always be that one person who thinks that they are faster then a 90 mph train who get ground into paste,#2 to avoid horns,the people who live or work around the area might not like hearing loud trains horns,if they can be heard from 10 miles away imagine how it would sound in a quiet workplace,and #3 since its right next to the (kinda small) station,ether the locomotive or the rear end of the train might hang out and block the way for anyone who wishes to get to the other side at the same time.

Wow for the first time ever I played a map before you, usually I find the fun maps because of you.

I think anything that is associated with a quiet and empty city at night can qualify as the pinnacle of creepy and comfy. Train platforms, laundromats, gas stations, etc, all give off that feeling.

Iv'e been watching your channel for over a year now and i love your content. And i would really love to see you play Firewatch. Its i such a beautifull game that also has that creepy comfy feeling. The ambience is really something too. It would probably have to be split up between videos though.

Ok I love the maps and the vibes are very accurate to sitting in the train station early in the morning. but my one nick pick with is it pulled the classic sleep and miss the train. They should have added a train that would move slowly across the map. so if you're far away you will not have enough time to get to to get to the train.
