A cursory web search indicates that it's some sort of mock bible, a local meme and a cornerstone of a small Internet subculture.

Played this map and forgot that I had a supplemental addon for Construct 13 Beta still enabled. As a result, I encountered another player in the form of a t-posing Kleiner ('mingebag'). Was an interesting encounter because I was honestly not expecting it. They gave me a right ol' spook. XD

Phys objects in gmod becoming magnetized to map geometry is a common thing in gmod, it doesn't mean the items meant to be there, just the hitbox got updated somewhere and bugged out before merging with the map. Still a great video!

Hey, I don't know if you read suggestions written here, but I'd like to mention a map named "gm_retreat - Arctic Map" or just "gm_retreat". It's an arctic research facility. I'm sure that is quite creepy in VR, but either way it's a really well made and detailed map. I recommend checking it out if it's not on your list already.

2:06 I believe that area of a church is often called the “loft”. You’re right, it’s usually a small, exposed upper level built at the back of a church where you can usually find the organ console. It is definitely is a bit creepy because it really is in a place within the church where you can see everything and everybody, but nobody usually will see you. But if you are the one up there, it is pretty cozy.

It's not only in Eastern Europe, it's in Russia. Plate at the entrance says "Chruch of Faithful Saint Prince Alexander Nevsky". This one is located in Veliky Novgorod. The balconies on top are called chores, that's where singers are. Orthodox temples don't use organs. 20:18 It says "In case of fire call 01" - that's Soviet emergency call number for fire service. 22:55 It's a poster "Fire safety in material and machinery warehouses" 29:35 As mentioned before, it's a idol of Slavic god Perun (Pyarun), god of thunder, law and war. A little pagan shrine next to an orthodox temple... Room in the basement with two "beds", pipes and stains is a reference to Russian trashy movie "Green elephant". Watching that one is a different kind of horror experience, though. The toilet in the same basement as a reference as well. The song on the radio is called Summer Will Be Over Soon, by Kino. Kind of legendary rock band on post-Soviet space.

I gotta be honest, this is the only channel that has actual personality when gaming, of all things. You are one of the few you tubers that I have watched that made me love the channel, not on purpose, but just because of how real it is. Great stuff, man!

Having watched a good amount of your videos, I get the feeling we had really had pretty similar childhoods. I also was an East Coast Catholic school kid who lived in the suburbs, took the bus, and fondly remembers the rainbow parachute and cheap flat scooters at gym. I’m also in my mid 20s now haha. It must be something about the way we grew up, because I too am fascinated in things creepy and comfy haha.

One time i actually did accidentally go to school on a day off. It was one of those random minor holidays in the middle of the week, and i was lost in thought as usual and didn’t remember about it. At the time i had a weird schedule and i was taking the city bus, so i made it all the way there before i found out. Some of the school staff were actually there for a meeting or something, and must have all been in one room, but the front doors were left unlocked and the hall lights were on. Because of the time i arrived i assumed everyone was in class, and i just walked in like normal. I finally put 2 and 2 together when i made it to the second floor and noticed a set of lights at the end of the hall were left turned off, that all the classroom doors were closed, and it was eerily quiet. It was a special and unreplicable experience, assuming that everything was normal, to sensing that something was off in the back of my head, to finally stopping mid stride in the hallway as i suddenly realized i was alone. That moment single-handedly made me ‘get’ the concept of the backrooms, especially the part about accidentally wandering in.

I think that upper area of the church is called the choir loft. As the name implies, it's where the choir sits in some churches. In case this has been answered in the comments already I'm providing a bonus empty church story. When I was a kid my parents lived in a parsonage as the custodians. Once or twice a week they'd go in and clean and I'd have the whole place to myself. It was a huge, beautiful church, I dont remember how old it was, but it was at least 100 years old. Thinking back on it, as a kid it never bothered me how empty it was because I was more interested in ramrodding around like any 7 or 8 year old should. These days I might find it a bit more unsettling, as I no longer believe in god or gods. I went back as an adult for a relative's wedding and didn't get a weird vibe, probably because it was alive with people. Pretty lame, as bonus empty church stories go, so I'll add that my sister and older brother said they saw a bright ghost at the top of some stairs there once. My sister was convinced it was an angel, but I'm pretty sure my older brother was just trying to get me spooked.
