Thanks for sharing, Jonathan. I always learn new things from each of your videos. Curious question on the Jeti setup: you use two REX 7 receivers to go with the central box. Why not use the two R3 receivers instead and save a few bucks? What are the benefits of using the REX 7s vs the R3? Thanks again for your excellent videos

Thanks Jorge. I don't use the R3's as receivers. In North America we can only get the short antenna R3's. The Rex 7/Rex 12 that we use have the 40cm dipole antenna's which allow more diverse antenna placements and therefore better reception. If we could purchase the r3 with the 40cm dipole antenna I would use them.

Interesting! JT always told me NEVER overpower the BDX when we talked about it in Ft. Worth. That was a year ago, however so maybe things have changed in what's available.

She's a bit of porky plane so I don't think a 240 will be too much. Now, Stuffing in a 300 would be too much. Mine will also have a 240 but you have to remember we are 10-20% reduction in thrust with elevation.

Your build series are amazing, but could you do a series on repairs? (Spot repairs on FG models, paint repairs, gear block reinforcements, etc)

Thank you. a few years back I did start a "Repair" play list. Havent done much since but yes for sure!

@@thelightersideofrc I appreciate the consideration. I’m still very new to jets and fiberglass models in general so it’d be great to see tips and tricks in regards to repairing the occasional boo-boos.
