The Equestrian Magic at the beginning sensed Vignette's negative mindset and tried to effect her phone to do what she wanted, just like Juniper wanted to see herself as a star and nearby magic sensed her negative attitude and possessed the Mirror to do that. Only difference though is Juniper isn't actually a horrible person, unlike Vignette who can go die in a ditch for all I care

It’s hard to make a good villain in this format when they have only an hour to introduce and resolve the problem. Though they can bring back the only EG villains they weren’t reformed and form a story around them.

Vignette, however, has not been corrupted by Equestrian Magic but did it anyway. 19:32 why does Sunset look like she can't understand what Twilight is saying? They're both almost just as smart as the other. Sunset should be following what Twilight's saying no problem. 22:27 it's ironic Sunset's the one saying this considering the events of Spring Breakdown. 22:56 well, hello, Megan. When'd you get back from Dream Valley? And how come you look YOUNGER than the last time we saw you? 25:27 you know it's bad when even Flim and Flam want you to stop falling for their scams. 29:58 there is literally no way Vignette would know Applejack knows about the magic phone and how she zapped RD and Fluttershy and decided to throw suspicion off herself. Applejack didn't say anything beyond "don't trust Vignette" until AFTER Vignette pulled the switch with the phones. 33:31 seriously, as far as she's aware right now, she literally just warped the entities that were the girls and she doesn't even care. As far as she knows she's just taken their free will and turned them into mindless programs. Vignette is literally the most evil villain Equestria Girls has ever had after The Sirens. Should she be forgiven? Um, yeah, NO! Vignette does NOT get a pass on this. 38:36 now Sunset is worried that Vignette is getting more corrupted by Equestrian Magic every minute, but here's the thing, she ISN'T. Not once has there been ANY sign the magic is corrupting her at all. But you don't need to be corrupted by Equestrian Magic to do something horrible or be a horrible person. Vignette first keeps making Rarity redo EVERYTHING despite how little time there is before the parade, which was putting Rarity under the huge stress that caused her to ignore all the warnings and that's her tamest bit of dickitude. She literally says as far as she's aware she ERASED THE GIRLS FROM EXISTENCE, aka KILLED them simply because they refused to let her force her way into their band without even asking them first, on top of renaming their band without asking first and passed it off as if she'd lost a toy or something. Sure, all the other villains who have used Equestrian Magic did horrible things, but, excluding The Sirens because they were outright evil banished from Equestria to begin with and Wallflower because she felt isolated and ignored and realized her mistake once she erased all Sunset's human memories, let's look at it for a moment. Sunset tried to kill Princess Twilight AFTER being corrupted by Equestrian Magic. Sci-Twi tried to rip the world apart to get to Equestria's magic AFTER being corrupted by Equestrian Magic. Juniper intentionally kept the rest of the Humane 7 and then trapped Sunset in the mirror AFTER being corrupted by Equestrian Magic. Gloriosa tried to keep everyone in Camp Everfree against their will AFTER being corrupted by Equestrian Magic. Are we seeing a pattern here? Aside from the Sirens and Wallflower, every villain in Equestria Girls up to now only did horrible things intentionally AFTER they were corrupted by Equestrian Magic. Vignette, however, was NEVER corrupted by Equestrian Magic once, but did things even most of the others didn't WHEN corrupted and she had NO qualms about it. She does NOT get to be forgiven here. Not a chance!

I mean I shipped it before this special because I like the whole opposites attract pairings myself so when I saw this I lost it. The Rarijack moments are just so cute here. I believe Rarijack is a good ship but unfortunately there weren't that many moments before this special and so far it does seem we're going to get not many if any Rarijack moments in season 9 which is kind of disappointing honestly. Ill still ship it though.

Sometimes things happen and people get too swept up in the moment and forget what’s really important. Lucky 🍀 everyone forgave each other & extended an olive branch to Vignette Valencia. The Antagonist was pretty pathetic, but that’s kinda the point of Valencia’s character. As to where the magic came from, look at the end of “Legend of Ever Free”. There are magical orbs pouring out of the base of the CHS Wonder Colt statue. Specifically the crack that represents what happened during the “ Friendship Games”. These TV specials are allowing a somewhat older audience/ demographic see what to do in a real life situation to avoid conflicts and resolve disputes, etc. that’s smart writing ✍️. Reminds me of the TV show called “Doug” or “ Kim Possible”, etc. Additionally I ‘d like to mention that these fancy outfits and the magical transformations give me Anime vibes ala “Sailor Moon”. “Cosplay is Magic “! Just look at any convention and you can definitely find a lot of cosplayers walking around having fun. Kinda like characters at an amusement park, etc. exciting to watch the end results of months of hard work 😓. Stage shows, concerts, sporting events are no different because they are all a shared experience. Enjoy responsibly and make sure you get home safe. That is the truth whenever I have gone out for special events. It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt 😔 which ruins everyone else’s enjoyment.
