For twelve seasons, The Big Bang Theory followed the lives of a quartet of nerds and their eventual girlfriends and wives. Along the way, the series picked up a pretty substantial number of guest stars. Many of these celebrities were culled from some geek-adjacent worlds, like Star Wars and Star Trek, but many also came from legitimate scientific institutions, as well as Hollywood in general.
