Perhaps he has something against this family, or maybe the king, as a Catholic, cannot divorce her but wait until his daughter grows up and then abdicate and separate from Letizia. She's a witch from hell, but I don't feel sorry for Queen Sofia. When Filip had previously found two other women with whom he wanted to marry, Sophia said no. So she got a daughter-in-law, a native of Spain, a divorcee and a witch in one person.

King Filipe unfortunately fell in Love with Letitia, but it wasn't the Real Letitia, She only surfaced once Filipe became King, but as is the Norm when a Man falls in Love, he still fancies himself in Love with her. Then again, maybe not, it's the person she showed herself out to be before they got married is who he Loves. I serious doubt she ever loved him, I suspect it was the attraction of being Queen eventually & a Princess straight away, that led her to Marry him. Hopefully the 2 daughters don't take after her, where Money & Position is the only consideration, because their doting Father obviously doesn't know how to teach them any different.

It is so sad to see how he has fallen. Let us hope that Felipe VI remains throughout his reign as ethical as his father was at the beginning of his. Spain is now going through a tremendous scandal involving King Felipe VI and Letizia who is being exposed as a lady who has gone to bed before and during her marriage to Felipe. All her lovers are coming out and she seems to be soooo ashamed, but the. Royal House has not uttered a word about this super murky life she has always had. A divorce is apparently being studied and we do not know the present status of the monarchy and the spaniards at present. The whole scandal has been exposed and discussed EVERYWHERE in the world....Europe, LatinAmerica, etc., etc., but not a word has been uttered in Spain. There seems to be some censorship of the press, because nothing is being discussed or exposed....we only know through a few bloggers. Letizia and Felipe should leave the throne....they are a mistake as a reigning couple. She is a very prepotent person who wants to rule Spain on her own.l...but thank God she never will because she is the Queen Consort and now Princess Leonor is of age to become queen. The current Queen has had her past because I don't think it was in her dreams becoming the future Monarch. Whatever her relationship she has with her mother in law, it might not only be her fault. people love to critisize letizia but honestly if it wasnt for her, the spanish monarchy would have ended over a decade ago. The queen mother Sophia might be a decent person but frankly she is too soft and indulgent towards her daughters and her husband and thats evident from their scandals and the way they have raised their kids. Frolian is a massive douchebag and an entitled jerk... Victoria is just seems so toxic and full of herself... the mother is encourages that behavior while playing the victim.. Cristina is slightly better as a mother and at least she has a decency to feel ashamed to face the spanish public after what her husband did but she definitely picked the wrong man to marry. The current king seems like a decent person who is truly loyal to the country as do Leonor and Sophia so hopefully this new generation will do good to the people and dont end up disappointing them like the old one

Perhaps it is due to the fact that prior to marrying CP Felipe, she was a private person. Now she is Public property so to speak. What she did as a private Citizen, is nobody else's business. What she does since her marriage, should be all that matters to the Spanish People. They have the right to expect a certain degree of behavior from The Royal Family as they Represent Spain.

@@adrianavalenzuela5068 I agree that when you enter a Royal Family, you are no longer a Private Person & that's as it should be, BUT what you did prior to that entry should not be a matter for Public Gossip or Discussion. Any Monarchy & any Royal Family always do a very careful investigation into any prospective person marrying into the Family. If they accept them, then that should be enough for the Public. The responsibility rests with the Current Monarch, especially when it's the Heir to the Throne. I don't know about the Spanish Royals, but certainly with the majority of European Royal Houses, you need to seek permission to be allowed to marry if you are high on the Line of Succession & stand a very good chance of sitting on the throne. In the British Monarchy for example, you must get permission to Marry if you're the 8th or higher on the List or If you would be if any children are ahead of you. Right at this moment, there are 5 Children in the top 8 on the Line of succession, Prince William's 3 & Prince Henry's 2, who shouldn't be on the LOS in any case. Remove the 5 Children & the next 5 Adults come in, which would be, Prince Andrew, Princesses Beatrice & Eugenie, Prince Edward & Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor. They will do all the checks, especially if the proposed Person is a Commoner, but if the Person puts on an act & behaves differently until they get the ring on the finger, then reverts to the real them, it becomes problematic. There are 2 of them in the Royal World now & it's caused/causing them problems. However, in General, the Public or the Press should not be digging into the Past Life of any Royal. What a 30 -50yr old Married into the Royals did when they were 18-25yrs is no business of theirs at all, all of us make mistakes at that age & most of us learn from them. Some don't but then they won't past Muster in the Investigative Process.

Read the book by Joaquin Abad, you will find out all the horrible things that these family had done, Infanta Cristina and Igancious =Inaki Undangarin, have divorced, He spent 3 years in jail, the older sister Elena, has been divorced for years, husband involved drugs and other, Letizia, has has so many lovers,,one of them Jaime del Burgo who for a while was married to her sister Telma, Juan Carlos and so many lovers, has not been living with wife Sofia doe 40 years... all monarchies should be gone a waste of time, I was born in Barcelona, 77 years ago, i live in OZ, now for 63 years so, I am able to watch and listen all the goings on in Spain, never believe what you are told, as per usual.... King Felipe v1 only came into his own when his father went to live outside of Spain. It is very difficult to rule with two Kings and two Queens....as Queen Letizia has found. Queen Letizia is a true Spanish Queen not if bluebood but with charisma beauty, intelligence and professional skills with speeches and communication which makes her a great Queen Consort and helper to her husband and daughters. Long may the reign So as in in A modern way and in a modern world. There is not room for the sisters of King Felipe to have ongoing representative roles. In King Juan Carlos days there were always too many royals present at events. The current 4 members of the Royal family will manage all events with aplomb in the years ahead.
