SAME! There was a private club in Kansas City called Chapman’s. Even tho the legal age to drink was 21, in Kansas, private clubs could serve liquor at 18. (If my memory serves me correctly) It was an old mansion converted into a disco. So cool!!! So when I was 18, we’d go there on the weekends and I remember dancing to this song a lot!!!

This song is just KILLER! Her voice sets *my* soul on fire! Her voice to me feels like a river of smooth caramel, able to curve itself perfectly around the melody. Just amazing. 💗 I feel like I need to listen to all of her music now. And that bassline! The only regretful thing about this video is that we don't get to see the bassist work their magic.
