Great new apartment. I kept saying there not going to live in that small place and I was right. Did you buy he new place or are you renting it. New place looks great - congrats! Not sure if you are already doing it, but the smart bulbs from IKEA are well priced and integrate well with the Echo. It'll give you some nice mood lighting options for what looks like a very stylish place!

Congrats guys and good luck in your new apartment. Think you’ve made the right decision as the other one was nice but a bit tight and if, God forbid, there’s another lockdown, you’d have gone stir crazy in there! Was surprised you ended up in the one bed after mentioning the bigger option so pleased it worked out in the end. Without the option to travel easily for a while, this one will keep you occupied and I’m sure you’ll get stuck into the project. I’d measure really carefully for the sofas though as you don’t want it to be overcrowded. Get a newspaper and block it out as then there’s an actual mass rather than just tape, and you’ll be able to tell if it all fits with enough space around. Going back to the lodge really will feel like a holiday home after you doing up the apartment when you’re there. Look forward to seeing the renovations and then the finished product. 👍

What a great find! Gorgeous apartment and it’ll look amazeballs when you’ve done it up. My husband kind of guessed because he couldn’t understand why Nick hadn’t done much DIY in the one bedroom apartment, he didn’t think you’d be there for long. I’m guessing you’re buying the place rather than renting because you’re planning on ripping up flooring and wanting to knock a hole in the wall. Great investment if you are buying xx

TV should definitely should go in spot 1, L-shaped couch in the center with the chaise along the wall, two chairs in spot 2 with a small round end table in between, a third chair near the railing, little dry bar/sideboard area behind the third chair along the wall, and a round dining table like you already mentioned. Room designing really gets me going. 😅
