Former school teacher James JT Taylor who made his name as the lead singer of Kool & The Gang, during their most successful comercial period, was the voice behind hits like Ladies Night, out on here as a solo artist after he left the Gang with this release single from his 1991 album

Sigh. Back in 2012 one Saturday afternoon in Singapore. Day off booked the pool bbq spot and all the goodies are ready to go on the fire. I was all alone and pressed shuffle on my ipod and this song came on. Lets just say in about 4 hours there were 8 people boogeying away and it was indeed a long hot summers day and night. Timeless classic. Now its 14 December 2022 at my desk in Zimbabwe Africa.

Long live Zimbabwe. I am in the UK. But I grew up. Over there on and off. Since 1975 when it was called Rhodesia. The last time I was there. Was December 2010. For 2 and a half weeks. I love that country. And I still have family there. SOUL, R&B, JAZZ FUNK, JAZZ, THE RAT PACK, REGGAE. Let it live 4 ever.
