The hotel is beautiful and offers the best sunset views in Santorini, however if staying in Oia I think the best experience is staying on the other side looking out over the Caldera and seeing all the stunning white architecture, especially for first time visit. Stunning video as always sir

this place Santorini is one of my dream spots on the planet..the architecture & simplicity is something that really caught my eye about Greece.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed. Beautifully done video (LTE always produces stunning videos), but for a five star resort, the rooms are small and a little too rustic for me. The seating area looks uncomfortable and I do not believe that there are even windows in the lower bedroom (maybe I missed it). The landscaping around many of the villas appeared bare and not really pleasing to the eye (IMHO). The pool terrace seemed lovely (especially the umbrellas!) and I liked the sunken bar, but the view directly down from the infinity pool was downright ugly. A garden landscape would have completed the design. Not really that impressed with the spa. The food looked delicious and beautifully presented and the sunset was breathtaking.

This, by far is my favourite hotel that you have reviewed, in this series. The location, the austerity of the spaces - glazed walls, rustic furnishings, eco-friendly landscaping - and of course the views. That sunset was like being in a Turner painting. Food looked amazing, as well.

As a luxury hotel enthusiast, I come to see your videos from time to time. Your videos always give a full view of each hotel and when I watch them, it's like I've actually been there. Your videos are always relaxing and calming. well done. i see in the reflection of the glass that you are still videoing with your phone in both hands. This can be a safety risk when walking. I still highly recommend you use a Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer (such as DJI OM4 or 5). This way you can free up one of your hands and have more opportunity to pay attention to your steps and surroundings while recording, and you can also get a more stable picture than holding the phone with both hands.

My favorite pool is Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo's. The view from the pool terrace is wonderful. The underpass leading to the building with the pool is unique. IMHO,It's like SF. （If it hasn'tchanged.）

Santorini has been on my radar for years and hopefully I'll get there sometime, but our next Greek island is Kefalonia in 2022. To answer your question about pools, my favourite was at Constance Lemuria in the Seychelles which had 3 tiered pools with two, IIRC, having a granite rock in them.

During the video I remembered .. Mastiha from Skinos just excellent ..the Pool in belmond ravelio and cavo tago mykonos and santorini and sky view dubai.

High atop the cliffs of the Santorini caldera, Andronis Arcadia lies just outside the blue-dome dotted fishing village of Oia.

This hotel seemed more like a 3-4 star to me than luxury. Design seems very “Holiday Inn”, the public areas from the reception onward just seemed poorly thought out and barebones, no luxury touches at all. Also, the landscaping is… missing. Oia is amazing but if you’re going to stay there, caldera views are a must. This could have been anywhere in Greece or Cyprus. Anyway, amazing video work as always!

Great video as always. You are a great videographer and always captures a great mood. As for hotel I’m not that that impressed. The views are nice but as you get closer to edge of main pool it looks like a construction zone below and shows you are still far from really being truly sea/ocean front. Rooms look nice and the splash pools are nice BUT the views aren’t as nice if you truly want to relax…. All in all it’s an ok property but not sure it deserves a 5 star status. As for your videos they are indeed in a class of themselves! Cheers and keep these coming!

At 1:55 the video mentions that the hotel offers complimentary pick-up and drop-off service - just to let everyone know this is not the case. We recently made a booking and were told "we would like to inform you that our transfer service is done with a premium car (Mercedes e-Class or similar) and the rate for up to 3 guests is 80 euro per way, with a luxury car (Ranger Rover or similar) at the rate of 120 euro per way"

So-so. For me, I need more color. I thought the rooms were too narrow and colorless. Not one ounce of charm. The spa area was better. I did like the poolside umbrellas. The food looked good except for the breakfasts. The egg dishes looked overcooked. And the meat carver needs a sharper knife, I think.. Overall, dear LTE, too barren and minimalist for me. Even the sunset was minimalistic ... I'm sure it's nice for those who like this style, but! Unfortunately, I'm not one of them. 😔 This is no reflection on your work, though, which is always very well done !!😃

hmm, nice video as always, but this doesn't look like Santorini to me, as a greek. I've been to Santorini several times, long before becoming so touristic... The caldera views and volcanic atmosphere is what makes Santorini unique. If not for these 2, I could find hundreds if not thousands of luxury hotels in Greece, on amazing beach and beautiful sunset..

This is the same as other "new" resorts in the Cyclades, they are beautiful but no privacy at all. Older resorts had privacy in mind.

Every saturday I can once again wonder how everyone just oversleeps that morning and not using a full day of sunlight there... Does that always mean that the travel expert skips an included breakfast just to film? Because everyone is eating things?

Utilitarian and underwhelming. I’d be disappointed if my holiday were here. (I think you’ve spoilt us by the many wonderful places you’ve been in the past, LTE.)

Hmmmm. 🧐. Luxury? Well, simplicity could be considered luxury. I’m afraid this property does NOT qualify as “luxury” IMHO. The guest suite/bathroom was not evoking luxury. When one overlooks the infinity pool and looks down, it looks like a construction site was just cleared. They need to landscape it. Food looked appetizing enough. But IMHO, I think they missed the mark in labeling themselves as a “luxury” property. Perhaps Belmond or Four Seasons could give them a primer in what it means to advert as “luxury”. 😒

Everything looks stunning except the furniture in the living area, that looks most uncomfortable to sit on for long.

A crumpled menu full of misspellings and apparently typeset by an octogenarian church lady speaks to the effort put in this place. And no, that's as much a fusion place as the pool is Olympic-sized. The rooms are just awkward. Sure, they were constrained by a cram-double-the-reasonable-accommodation brief, and they did at least pretend to xeroscape the roofs, but there must be a better solution than 3 living spaces with no comfortable seats and barely a place to seat face-to-face.

Way too overcrowded island during peak season(late)June, July and August ... I literally mean it, you will not be able to walk around....Landscapes and sunsets are fantastic though. A Greek here.

Eh, not doing it for me. It just seems sort of plunked there on the road. Cavoo and Grace are so much more dramatic.

being able to afford this is a lifestyle choice... There are people who have everything at home. They spend too much on things they have at home - too much useless stuff, but they kinda need it... Those guys will never be able to afford such hotels. But there are people who still have a very cost-efficient way of life in the same salaries than you - they'll be abe to afford vacations roughly priced the same as a newly built house for yourself.
