Really wish they would try a shot at another album. JPJ isn't getting any younger.

I had NO IDEA there was more TCV material out there.. my shitty ass night has been made three-fold! not only that but what is it, two, three years later? and I still can't get over the fact that Josh Homme and Jonesy are making music together. seeing the pictures in the slideshow made me re-evaluate my appreciation for this band.

They were intending to make the debut Vultures album a double album. Meaning that they already have stuff written but they chose the best of the bunch to keep on the record. I am positive that this and HWY 1 were written in those sessions as well and they left them both off to save them for live stuff and probably their second album. By the time they decide to actually make a second record they may make changes to both tracks, unless they decide not to touch them and they think it is fine the way they are.

I just found out about Hwy 1 and this song yesterday. It's like a little taste of Vultures to tide me over.

what a marvellous piece we have here... It makes me wonder and sad, what music we have not heard from them yet

CarloVonDuck They have said that they are almost certainly making another album, but it is going to have a lot of their leftovers from the first album.

I'm so glad this was posted. I've been searching for a clear version of this song for months. A full studio workup of this song would make an instant classic!

@WMackbd Like my old man use to say "Make a wish in one hand and take a shit in the other and see what will come first." lol Don't hold your breath but I'm sure it will see the light of day in the future ;)

That's not a violin. That's a lap steele.

vamanosghuey nope it's a fiddle.

Lap steels don't sound like that. Bowed strings instruments do.

It's a bit like "Warsaw or the last breath after you give up" but a lot bluesier... Hate to be a buzzkill, but I hope they have something a bit more "down and out" coming up for their second album. This isn't bad, but it ain't no "Gunman", "New Fang " or "No one loves me and neither do I" either
