Yes that's what I've been telling my people, it's like racial AHS! In my opinion season 2 is great but season 1 was unspeakably amazing. So basically, it's a psychological horror series centered around black American trauma and both seasons take a different approach on it, so it's connected in the theme but the plotlines are disjointed. There are actors from the first season that play different characters in the second season.

My problem is casting Africans as foundational African Americans. Sanaa Latham would have been perfect for the female detective role. The concept is good,casting is wrong.
