@@langfordjeremy100 how? He kept fighting and winning. Before mcGregor he was undefeated for 9 years. A loss doesn’t erase history. Aldo is a household name he’s in the HOF for a reason. Conor will never be in the HOF for one reason and one reason only . He didn’t fight enough. But Conor’s plan wasn’t to fight long term it was to get rich quick and bounce !

This doesn’t get talked about enough but instead of the UFC making Aljo vs Aldo (which would have been 100% warranted btw) instead the UFC/Dana gave the title shot to TJ who was not only coming off a two year suspension but a CONTROVERSIAL win over Sandhaggan. Not to mention Aljo vs Aldo in Brazil does far more numbers than Aljo vs TJ ANYWHERE! They then put Aldo up against Merab (who he and Aljo BOTH said beforehand that they would never fight each other) and after a snoozefest win against Aldo, Aljo then (to no fault of his own) gets an easy win over a one arm, TJ Dillashaw… Not to mention Aldo actually has a style to beat Aljo… oh well we’ll never know…

connor acted like shit toward this all time great (and not to mention very humble) fighter. not sure what everyone else thinks but all things considered i cant help but think aldo has every claim to being one of the goats even above mcgregor

Something tells me Conor wouldn't be friends with a guy that knocked him out in 13 seconds.

Considering the switch up on dustin after getting knocked out i’d reckon friendship is the last thing that would be on his mind after getting knocked out in 13 sec 😂

Jose had a 16 fight win streak in the UFC prior to the McGregor fight. Amazing. Everyone that fought Aldo said he hit incredibly hard. Would love to see a rematch between these two. Jose takes it all in his stride but the reality is he was given one shot at a rematch and it was on less than two weeks notice. He was on vacation with his family and turned it down and I understand why. Aldo was invincible for a decade and from observation, most fighters are at their peak for no more than ten years with the exception of the heavyweight division maybe.

So happy to see Aldo is at peace with everything in his career. Champ for 10+ years in multiple promotions/eras of fighting and always did it with class. Absolute Legend
