Same - I’ll never forget those pre-Bellator TKO’s and everyone talking about this new guy who was like a video game character. In Bellator, it saddened me as they fed him cans for literally 5 years. Then when he was competitive against Lima I knew he was ready. I’m glad he finally made it here. Just seeing him get some wins in the UFC is good enough for me.

Fr but that's definitely a great ending arc for him. He could easily get a title shot. It took Pereira a year to become the champ and their entry in the ufc are pretty similar. HUGE name in a other organization, taking down 3 or 4 ranked fighters and then u got the title shot.

When he realizes he’s losing, he makes the fight a joke instead of making adjustments to win. It’s a mental thing. Such a shame cause he has all the tools, long range, punching power, good BJJ, better wrestling after fighting Khamzat. He needs to be more serious. Like MVP said, he could’ve done more. That takedown in round 2 was a good sign but he never capitalized on it.

@@steven401ytx Possibly. I spotted a few brave ones who are now saying "MVP would get destroyed by anyone in the top 10." Moving goalposts as always. Remember, he wasn't supposed to win against ANY UFC caliber opponent. Now it's moved to fighters in the top 10. We're getting there though, slowly but surely.
