As a professional painter and owner of a painting company I can say I laughed at every hack in this video. Not one thing in this video is something painters do.

No proper painter uses any of these as they don't do them 🤣🤣 use tape if u really have to, wash brush out in sink, and buy a proper angled brush if u can't cut in not that u need 1 ,

Secret?? Attaching a longer stick to a paint roller is a secret?? Or a hack?? This video is a complete fail!

I feel so stupid now for using masking tape and not tinfoil... Proof I'm no pro painter...

Just take the outlet off the wall - don't wrap electrically conducting material around it :(

Professional painters do not do any of those so called tricks. I was a union painter for forty years….

Wouldn't masking tape have a quicker and easier job.

My favorite painting trick is throwing out the brushes after each use.

Trust me folks. Professional painters hide none of these things from you. Mostly because we don't use them. All you need is a high quality brush (the right one for the right job), and practice. Gimmicks are more trouble than they are worth.

Professional painter with 20+ years experience here. While I do commend these “hacks” for inventiveness, and maybe worth doing if your supplies are limited (like trimming a chip brush to be an angled brush, or improvising an extension pole) these are not tricks I have ever used (or seen used) on a job. I guess tin foil would work in a pinch if you didn’t have any cutting skills or tape, and you were masking out a large area to be sprayed….but really, if one just practices cutting in with a 2-2.5” angled brush for a while, your jobs will get much easier. It’s not knowledge you’re born with, anyone can get at least decent at cutting in with some practice.

All and any tips for all projects can be taken or not taken...

As an amateur painter, I found myself not laughing at the tips, but the way you made the video, it's great! I still tape to get those nice lines, but the coke bottle over the can, I'm definitely going to try it.

Brushes I have seen come already shaped. Rollers are sold with extension poles. There are Fullels and pour spouts for various sized paint cans, Although the idea of a cap looks interesting.

Fun tips! Those brushes are pretty rough though 😬. A good brush and the right masking tape for the job will set you up for success.
