@MusicDictionary. If you pick your books right, it's easier to keep reading than it is to put the book in your hand down and eat, shower, sleep, etc. I could only do the latter because I needed to get up and go to work...to earn more money to buy more stuff like manga (and shelves).

Your collection is amazing! It's cool to realize just how much manga exists, cause I have around 1,100 volumes in my collection, and I watched this assuming you'd have all the books I have, which wasn't the case. I agree, I think Reborn needs a reprint!! That would make me so happy ughhhhhhh

I just recently got into manga because our library had a small collection. I picked one up (Summertime Rendering), and Attack on Titan. I got immediately hooked and started borrowing other mangas. I don't have a collection yet, since I have just been borrowing, but watching this video definitely inspired me!

How inspirational! I just started seriously collecting. I received Mao vol. 1 a few years ago...so I started with that series and just preordered 16-18. I just completed Muhyo & Roji's BSI...and I own Sensor. Just ordered a bookcase and risers for my very new collection and plan on selling a ton of books that I do not want or plan to read to make room for more manga. I started with gaming and anime...and now I'm excited to finally grow a manga collection. I subbed to your channel for tons of inspo 🫶

For better AOT spines, I’d recommend the Omnibus version. They are collected in 3 volume chunks, and the spines are a wall of titans, which is very fitting for the series

Yeah they may be better slightly but the 3n1s are not super great. Plus if you dont squint you cant tell the black stuff is the back of titans haha

What an incredible and varied collection, love it! I can't even imagine how much money it must have costed You 😵💫. Also, I would like to recommend You a series called The Duke of Death and His Maid. It's a romance manga about a guy, who kills everything he touches and his maid, who loves him and wants his affection. The art in it is pretty cute and I personally love the covers. I believe this manga might be to Your or Your wife's liking! (Sorry if you already have it in Your collection, I might have missed it 😅.)

Its so interesting how this is almost the exact opposite of my collection 😭 I'd say we have very few series in common, i was always expecting to see x or y series on the book shelf but didn't which just makes it the more fun. Just goes to show how unique each collection can truly be regardless of how much you collect. I'm guessing it also comes down to language, a lot of my collection is whichever language had prettier covers spines along with the cost, so its not only english. Just gives me more excitement to get more series and especially to look into some that caught my eye on this video!!

I know this was posted a while ago, but thought I should mention to you that Shuna's Journey is complete in that one volume. There aren't any more. Wish Miyazaki had made more manga tbh. He's so good at building a whimsical, story-book world you can get immersed in.

Yeah Sayonara Football is like that because the first 2 volumes are "Sayonara Football" and the rest are the sequel series "Farewell, My Dear Cramer" but they kept the same volume numbering for the English release. Threw me off when I started collecting it because everything online says Sayonara Football is only 2 volumes long and I was like how is that possible when I've seen multiple volumes of the series.

Got to say I loved the video and your little joke about Berserk, my personal favorite Manga/anime of all time, but do you acctually have Berserk, I would think you would have the deluxe editions like your Blade and Hellsing so I was a bit saddened or miffed that the great series was not truely represented, I still enjoy your content and think the collection is very good and vast, I haven't decided if I will collect any other manga other than my Berserk, which I am a little behind on sadly but with the money situation I am in right now it is tough, anyways you got a new subscriber, so keep it up.

Well id say it mostly comes down to not having direct sunlight and also a good temperature with lower humidly where they are kept

I think its awesome you have double sets of One Piece! My husband currently has Slime in our RS cart since its in bundles! (Despite the announcement yesterday of the Slime omnibus, he said he wants the singles.) Question! Do you think I should encourage him to get the side stories too? Do you think its as great as the main series? LET'S SO LIBRARY WARS! I didn't know your wife reads Skip Beat! Ahhh Full Sloth Alchemist!! I haven't read it but I bet its peak! Oh my goodness where did you buy GON?? I've had it recommended to me a lot (especially to get the Italian prints) but I have no idea where to get it! This is unrelated to the manga, but was your arm tired after the filming of this? My collection isn't even half and my arm was tired after filming my collection video! It may seem awesome to have double sets of OP but I need to just get around to selling the duplicate lol. For slime Id read the series first then decide but I think the trinity tempest one is the better of the 2. The GON I got from eastcoastmanga but him and others get it off Italian amazon I believe. BUT it can just be bought at abe books for 60 shipped and other places. Def one you want in the collection its great! Well my arm didint get tired but I did switch between hands for shots. Since im using my dslr camera with big 4k lense I put a handle I bough for it so it was easy to hold (I dont own a gimbal but wish i did in that moment) thx for watching!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stumbled across this channel as I was trying to find a good yet trustable way of getting manga for a tiny bit cheaper as it is quite pricey (any tips are appreciated), the sheer amout of manga is absolutely crazy and impressive too but im glad i found it, I was also wondering if you had any of the volumes from takehiko inoue's vagabond? Edit: I have just found the video about takahara cafe and the prices are really good for the manga I was looking to buy

Thanks! I need a lot of space for sure lol. The risers are made with regular 1'' x6'' wood you can get anywhere hecka cheap. Just a quick measure and a cut and boom ya got risers. If you dont have a saw/handsaw the store can cut them for you OR they have stations where you can cut them. You can do 8 big risers for like $5 total

I dont think they will do a box set for them. But maybe a hard cover 2n1 or something in the future but that could be many many years

I have lots of vids where I talk in them some about book storage. But Ikea Billys are good book cases and I also use target essential brand ones those have worked well.

They are wood and I make them myself. I made a vid on how to make them. They are suuuuuper cheap and suuuuuper easy to make (almost have to do nothing lol)

I got volume's 3&4 of uzaki-chan wants to hang out, volume 4 of dan a dan and volume 7 of kiju#8 ordered and otw. And on the 1st of August, im planning on ordering led lights for my bookcase and volume's 58 to 72 if one piece .
