The apothecary diaries is amazing And csm part 2 is so wild I love it and I want to love black clover but the first 2 volumes I didn't like but love the funkos

What makes apothecary diaries good? It seems very slow and dialog heavy which usually isn’t my cup of tea

@sharebear421 so you r right it's heavy on dialog, and it kinda a slow burn in the beginning, but remember it's not an action anime it's a mystery romance like shelock how Far did u get into it?

I’ve been interested into entering the manga world (until now I’ve read only novels). And since the cyberpunk sub genre is my favorite, my parents did their research (obviously) and hooked me with AKIRA the 35th Anniversary box set and The Ghost in the Shell fully compiled hardcover edition. And so far I am blown away. Thanks to you I am now obsessed by manga and anime.

I wish Yona was going to keep going for a long time! The creator announced that its in the final arc with supposedly volume 42 being the start of last said arc! 😭😭😭 Hoping the ending will be a happy one because these last few volumes have me nervous! The Otaku Life manga was such a fun one!!

Great last haul of 2023! I can’t wait till I can get 20th century boys! And I just placed an order for One Piece box set 3 and 4! And I might get Blade of the immortal, more Flying Witch, Hinamatsuri, and Otherworldly Izakaya Nobu!

I was at Barnes and noble at Sunday (this is me from the future) I saw 20 first century boys and got jjk box set for Christmas vol. 1-4 I had vol.0 and then at barnes and noble I got Vineland saga chain saw man vol.1 and 2 kaeguri vol. 1 vol. 5 of jjk

@TheMangaSloth cool (: i love hxh and yuyu (acctualy more than sakamoto) but the fight choreography in sakamoto/how the fights *look* is cheff`s kiss. Sakamotos story is not that good but the way the artist draws the fights is what i was referring to. You have refined taists my guy (: also i recently discovred opm is seinin, ofc no one can draw op fights like murata seinse. I want to let you know your videos make my day better (:

@@KakutoKishi OPM is shonen since its printed in shonen. they are just labels for "age" but Id say HxH or FMA gets the closest to adult with themes and stuff. Happy you like my vids! I am happy you are here and chatting!

Ive heard so much about 20th Century boys but have no idea if its any good or what its even about, I got a fair bit of new manga for Christmas, claymore boxset and the original dragon ball box set aswell, and my girlfriend got me the death note all in one edition alot side some new berserk and tbe deluxe editions of the girl from the othee side

I surprisingly didn't get any manga but at least got a Barnes and Noble gift card that I used to get the same Akane Banashi volume and the 3rd volume of Hunter x Hunter

Hey, so question for ya. How do you keep up with what new manga is being released? Like if a new volume comes out, how do you know? I have a huge google spreadsheet of all the manga id like to read. I have the name, how many volumes are out, if it's completed or not, how many I currently have, what genre it is, and if im reading, finished, or quit it. It's been really helpful, but I've got like 193 series listed and a lot of them are ongoing. It's hard to keep track of new releases! So if ya got any tips for that, id love to know! love the content btw. Keep it comin 😁

Well I pre order a lot of books so I keep up that way on sites im buying from. Like crunchy shows most things coming out. Also from publishers and other small places etc. Its def not just from 1 place. Easiest one I can think of is go to crunchys website in the manga section and sort by new to old then go back until the preorders stop. Thats what is newist and you will see what is coming out next etc But dont worry im not perfect I miss volumes here and there too!

I’ve heard ragna crimson anime is rather mediocre production wise. When you say the manga is hard to follow do you mean the story or the action/paneling? I’ve been interested in buying some volumes but not if the art is hard to follow

Okay so I believe the manga is way better than the anime imo. Ragna is not confusing as a whole but some parts go in depth and I think since its always 3-4 months since I read the last one I need to brush up. They have some heavy parts when you need to pay attention for sure. BUT I dont think its in a way of bad writing or drawing. The action scenes are super nice but with so much going on you may have to look longer etc.
