Dr Lawson…I am one of the lowly, poor, unlovely outcasts,rejected by peers and society growing up that Jesus saved! I am so aware that without Him I am nothing, will remain and always be nothing and that’s just fine with me! Cuz this way He, Christ Jesus is and will always be Everything to me!

Im a PK i never thoguht id be interested in such things.. haha.. but apparently what was rather ignorant and insincere for me meant quite a lot more for the 1 who made me! Voddie really lays it out there, so does Lawson no room for human righteousness or worth. The true word.

Boy, I know some people who really need to hear th... Oh wait, was I abouit to apply this teaching to others and not myself? That's so like the flesh part of me; how well I relate to Apostle Paul's lament in Romans 7 over the fact that the flesh is still present within us. "Lord please help us to totally subjugate and kill our old selves, daily, and be ever led by Your Spirit, whom you have so freely given to those you have chosen, called, justified and glorified. Teach us to hasten our conformity to the image of your holy Son, Jesus, our paradigm of humility, and in whose name we pray, amen." Question: In Romans 8:30 is the word "glorified" a prolepsis?

Unfortunately I have experienced pride from many in the pulpit. I believe that is why God preached where the people were. Outside, in towns on the sides of roads, poor villages etc. These grand churches and huge church funds accounts has puffed up many saints.

The greatest blow to pride is understanding you are Jesus Christ and so is everyone else; A hive mind, a collective of one, there is no identity apart from the whole. You are nothing, nobody, not even a number. Your words mean nothing and your actions even less. All that is required of you is blind, mindless, submitted obedience. If that doesn’t humble you then what will?

Conquering tribulations makes us stronger. Say you are a victor. Don't say you strengthen your patience by allowing weaknesses and sins. Overcome them by looking only forward. Not my thoughts.

God will have mercy upon whom. He will have mercy. When we are born again , it is ALL the work of Almighty God in and upon the sinner. Repentance is granted to those on whom He chooses to grant it, Faith is granted to those on whom He chooses to gift it , but the measure that he chooses. It is none of us and All of HIM. You would do well to right size the Astronomical God of the entire Cosmos and recognise that He is Sovereign. We do not choose God , He chooses us . We have no faith in God until it is given to us . We are saved by Grace , unmerited favour of God. God chooses whom He will save .

@@biagiomaffettone1497 Calvin isn't the author of scripture - the Holy Spirit is , and it cannot be understood by the unsaved , carnal , worldly, unforgiven sinner. Because it is a spiritual book and is discerned spiritually- the unsaved do not have the Holy Spirit living in them , therefore they cannot understand . You are trying to run before you have been born. The message for sinners is clear , the word of God is clear - and that is to repent ! And believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, only God can open your eyes to the truth.

I can't think of a more man centered doctrine then Calvinism. "Most of the world goes to hell but I'm the special elect chosen before creation " The Bible never means what it says and everything always comes back to knowledge the calvinist has that isn't available to everyone else or described in scripture. They follow a man’s exalting tradition of John Calvin. A true Christian trusts God to perfectly convey His Word and that His Word is true. A true Christian doesn’t need to add "kinds" or "types" at the end of sentences that disagree with Calvinist theology. A true Christian doesn’t need to declare God has a secret will that contradicts scripture to uphold Reformed theology. This is the difference between the Bible believer and the Calvinist. One of the main points of Calvinism is that the elect were predestined to be saved prior to them believing. This would mean that salvation is secured outside of Christ! So how can a Calvinist who's totally depraved be assured of salvation without relying on totally depraved faculties. A Calvinist say they are no longer totally depraved. Ok well how do you know? The faculties that were at least once totally depraved testify to your new heart? OK how do you know your totally depraved heart isn't deceiving you? The Mormon is deceived. Why aren't you? Because of the good things you do? That's human experience that must be processed by a totally depraved heart with no way of knowing if your heart is changed unless your totally depraved heart tells you it's new. So how does the totally depraved individual know Christ died for him and he's therefore been unconditionally elected without having to rely on human experience processed with a heart and mind that are totally depraved? Some good points. Salvation occurs because of the regenerating working of the Holy Spirit, to those whom God chose before the foundation of the world, and the chosen cannot resist but believe. Afterwards, they are humbly amazed the Lord would choose them to be a recipient of his grace. Long before I heard of the term calvinist, I accepted the mystery of the Bible.

It's not calvinism that really bothers you It's the word of God. I use to be the same way myself. Until I kept seeing it all in scripture. Amen 🙏 (John 15:16) 16You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit-fruit that will remain-so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you. (2th 2:13) 13But we should always thank God for you, brothers who are loved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginninga to be saved by the sanctification of the Spirit and by faith in the truth (2tim 1:9) 9He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began. (Eph 1:4-5) 4For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. In love 5He predestined us for adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will, (Rom 9:15-16) 15For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” 16So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. @@kylestaack38 But there is just some pesky verses that are so clear a moron can understand them. 1 Timothy 2 : 3-6 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. 1 John 2:2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. Acts 2 :21And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ 38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 This promise belongs to you and your children and to all who are far off-.... John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. A fool always explains an unclear verse they twist with another unclear verses they also twist!! It's the double twist tool Calvinists rely on to support the Cult. The rules of scripture is that you only interpret an unclear verse with clear verses. The above verses are crystal clear. Apply them to any doctrine of Calvinism and it dies! Truth in love

I would definitely like to know where "Sovereign grace" is written in the pages of scripture? Sovereign is in some translations, but not others. Grace is undoubtedly written numerous times, but have never seen them both together as a definitive term. And since I'm not reformed, I do not see unconditional election, limited atonement or any other form of the TULIP in 1Cor 1:25-31. At least agreed that irregardless is not a word. 😊 Steven just can't resist bringing Calvin's ideas into the Bible to override what is written in God's word.

hey brother. If you are interested in the topic of election, RC Sproul has a great book on it called Chosen by God. I believe it to be biblical, and all biblical doctrine is glorious! It really magnifies and enriches my love for God. Check it out if you would like!

@@jasonbourne5142 why don't you call the LAPD or the L.A.D.A.s office. Ask them about the Eileen Gray vs David Gray case. David Grey is serving 21 years to life for child abuse. A case where MacArthur told Eileen to take her husband back, and "suffer for Jesus".When she wouldn't, he publicly excommunicated her. David Grey was convicted, sentenced to 21yrs to life. David Grey recently came up for parole,.........he was denied. The parole board said he had not changed and that he was a terrible human being. Let your imagination run wild. What would complell a jury to recommend life in prison to a man who confessed to his church(GCC) and to the D.A. that he abused his kids? Gee what could it be? And by the way, what did Jesus say should happen to anyone that harmed or in anyway kept children from coming to Him? Last question, I promise. Do you follow a man or Christ? By the way, let your wife or girlfriend read this. Just so she knows..... I protect my wife and kids, I don't beat and sexually molest them. Be careful with what you texted, when MacArthur passes away I'll be at GCC with a "sign". I'm very sure I'll get an interview with a news crew. I've got a lot to tell. And the text I've received backing MacArthur "no matter what he's done", will I'm sure play well on the news. Yours might be among them, (with your handle). Remember, the apostle Paul called out Peter an apostle himself, Barnabas and the rest for hypocrisy.

To all the knowingly subscribed Reformers,Calvinists…… please choose to work on your EQ. I know for many of you integration of heart mind body soul is traumatically imbalanced. Jesus the messiah speaks on these dynamics in the Bible. Really , embrace the fearfully and wonderfully made in Gods image humanity and begin to turn away from your chosen theology and embrace Jesus the messiah.
