I am amazed by John. I recently started attending his church on Sunday mornings and it has turned my world upside down. I wish i could share. I have been silenced after years of church and amazed at how much i don't know. And terrified by what he preaches because it is so different then all that i've ever known. Thank God!

@let's talk Jesus died on Friday, the day before the Sabbath. He rose from the dead on Sunday, which is why the early church met on Sunday, and called it "the Lord's Day."

You're going to be living and preaching in a time when everything you say is going to be recorded, and you are either going to be timeless or obsolete" --- Now that is a Timeless Statement!

There hasn't been a preacher like John MacArthur since Charles Spurgeon actually I take that back Martin Luther King two of the great Christian speakers.keep preaching the truth John your greatly appreciated

+Ryan Zimmerman - Spurgeon was a cultural icon... his sermons being featured in every newspaper in the US and England. The only person who could approach that level of influence would be Billy Graham, but he was more of an evangelist than expositor. I did enjoy this interview. May God use MacArthur for his glory

I like the theology and the Biblical facts John MacArthur presents when he is preaching. I like his teaching style, whereas I like the late David Wilkerson's sermons for his good old fashion preaching style.

that critique of John Piper is wrong and unfair Piper preaches Christ in his books Seeing and savoring Jesus Christ, why christ came to die and a bunch of other stuff

Yes, great teacher & I believe a great man of God. However there's so much flattering with every Macarthur interview it's distasteful and unhelpful. I feel like each interviewer is afraid for his job so he sucks up. BTW - Ask some hard personal questions to get a better balance!

Realize his audience - to encourage and inspire future pastors. I have seen his kind humility and warmth in answering the questions of children in his Sunday evening Q&A's. In this instance he’s not speaking to unbelievers.
