Theme Park World (known as Sim Theme Park in the United States and Brazil and Theme Park Roller Coaster on the PS2 in North America) is a construction and management simulation game, and is a sequel to the 1994 video game Theme Park. Theme Park World was developed by Bullfrog Productions and released by Electronic Arts in 1999. Initially developed for Windows, it was later ported to PlayStation and PlayStation 2, as well for Macintosh computers. The Mac version was published by Feral Interactive. A PC expansion, titled Theme Park World: Gold Edition, adds several new rides and attractions. The game was followed by Theme Park Inc (also known as Sim Coaster) in 2000.
Like the previous title, Theme Park World tasks players with managing a series of amusement parks. To do this, the player must choose how to spend their available funds, finding a way to expand the number and scope of their parks while remaining profitable. Income from the park can be used to purchase new rides or attractions, hire staff to maintain the park, and other similar functions. Various elements can be controlled by the player, such as the name of the park, the price of admission, the layout of the roller-coaster tracks, and the quality of food in the park restaurants. An ant-like announcer by the name of Buzzy, voiced by Terry McGovern in the American-tailored Sim Theme Park and Lewis MacLeod in UK release Theme Park World, helps the player with advice during gameplay.
The player can earn golden tickets or keys for completing accolades such as getting a certain number of people in the park, reaching a certain happiness level, and making a certain profit in a year. Golden tickets can be used to buy special rides that cannot otherwise be unlocked by park researchers, as well as unlock golden keys needed to open additional parks. There are four different types of parks to unlock and build, known as worlds. Each world has a unique theme, with setting-appropriate rides, shops, and sideshows. As the player unlocks new areas, the game becomes progressively more difficult.

I remember playing this game when it first came out and I really enjoyed it. One thing I have noticed is that no matter how many security guards you hire or how many security cameras you place, you will always get misbehaving guests.

Hey! Did you see what that guy just did? Some of the visitors are misbehaving, and security hasn't noticed. You should make sure your guards are patroling the whole park, OR build some security cameras.

Weird, I’m from the us and the game was called sim theme park here. Man I was such a jerk in that game, I remember once I built a trap so that the exits for the rides led to an area that was totally surrounded and thus anyone who rode the rides wasn’t able to leave the park... ever

@@fryingule2387 so, I got the game installed and played for a few hours, then turned the PC off. Now, the game boots, showing me the downsized window as it did before, then crashes without even the intro video starting. I initially installed it with the 2.0 patch, then ran the windows comp. patch and so on. Uninstalling and repeating still gives me that issue ): Used all different compatability modes, too... Give me your insights, I already invested so much time I will spend more xd

All you really need to do with this game is sell the WORST quality of food/goods at extortionate prices and THAT is the key to making a ton of money. Also once you've built everything and made over $1 million on Lost Kingdom (Like I did within 4 days) there's little incentive if any to do it all over again on another park.

Try to look for a Windows 10 patch on google. There are some versions/patches out there, not everything works for everyone
