Hi Jeanine. What a wonderful video. I am so glad that you shared this trip with us. Like I said before you remind me of myself in so many ways, even your selection of sunglasses. I lost a pair like the light lenses one you chose. I have been searching for another pair. I guess I will have to find a truck stop! Ha. What a blessing you are. I loved your reunion with Nolan and Xander😭.

It was International Womans day this week - every year I think of an unsung woman who inspires me, that is courageous and brave, a woman who against difficulty and struggle doesn’t let anything hold her back and puts God first in her life. This year without a doubt you’re my woman of inspiration! Thank you for showing how determined we can be for the love of family! Xx God bless you.

You are just an incredibly strong young woman, Janine, to undertake this journey on your own. I admire your perseverance and your ability to handle all the various problems you had to deal with along the way. And the cold and snowy weather has not been the best for this kind of trip. I will admit that you had me smiling every time your "heavenly" music played in the background as you walked past the Cinnabons. Your music throughout the video was just outstanding. I hope that producing this video helped you process a lot of your emotions about this trip. Stay strong! Your family, community, and the world all need your light.

I am so glad you made it. The Lord truly carried you through. I’m going to have my daughter sit down and watch. She’s currently dealing with stomach issues and can hardly eat anything. She feels so alone and is so angry others don’t understand (teenage girls can be cruel). Thanks for putting yourself out there for others to know they aren’t alone. I know Satan tends to target us in our struggles and whispers that word, you are the only one! Thanks for being an encouragement for those who need it and show them they can get through this with the Lords help! God Bless. We are also so very sorry for you loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. I also so sympathize with your GI issues, as I also suffer from pretty severe IBS-D. I used to drive every single weekend to my Mom's (She had dementia and I would basically kind of mom-sit her all weekend) - 100 miles one way every single weekend for 3 years. Can't tell you how embarrassing so many of those trips were with "accidents" and what not. I will pray for you that your health will improve. My husband also has ulcerative colitis, so we both understand only too well. God bless you and your beautiful family!

At least ur covered wagon had a throne room! im a grandmom of 78 yrs who has irritable bowel and Crohns....ur struggle with food and the horrible payment if u break over is real....with the stress u were under, it was truly The Grace of God that u even made it....it is a serious disease one no one can understand unless they experience it! Thanku for being vulnerable and real and caring enough for others in hopes that it in someway gives a blessing! I was BLESSED! ... and im so sorry u struggle with this disease, but it showed me that im not alone! Thanku!!!!

Dear Jeanine, my sincere condolences to you and Nolan as you mourn for his dad. May the Lord comfort and uphold you all in your bereavement. He upheld you in your difficult journey out to Oregon, and He will surely be with you in the days ahead. PS I enjoyed the view of the Midwest, flat as they may be. Michigan was my home for much of my growing years, and Chicago and Iowa were my home during college. After moving down South in 1987, I was glad to get away from the harsh winters. But, oh, my. I didn't expect warm fuzzies while looking at your videos of the snowy flat landscape. They are a beauty unto themselves. Thank you for the video footage.

You are an amazing woman. I have to tell you, your trip made me feel a lot better. I am constantly, everyday asking God to ease the pain, not too much bathroom needs, help with Migraines and do much. I am sorry it was so difficult for you. I understand fully and I am so glad that you are Blessed. God is always present and I will never understand how some people manage without him. My deepest sympathy to your family and may God continue to Bless, Protect and Guide you all.

Sweet Jeanine ❤ Never ever apologize for a little "wining". We know what stress and pressure you were under with everything going on. Love your honesty. ❤❤ Stumbled across this poem, and thought of you. ~ Shining Sign In front of the house there's a sign, A genuine smile that knows how to shine When people walk by, they eagerly wave, They stop to talk, conversations they crave. When harsh winters arrive, the sign remains, Clears the snow, and fights through its pains Greets every friend and stranger that walks by, With a warm smile, and a wave in the sky. They all line up to talk to the sign, Like it's some kind of sacred shrine. This sign is special, attracts people like glue, With a very kind heart, the sign is You! ❤

I held it together thru the two videos but finally lost it at the end of video 2 when your wonderful husband reached out his arms to give you the biggest hug ever. I’m sure neither of you wanted to let go of the other. But your little guy’s face, his jumping out of the truck and wrapping his arms and legs around so so tight was so moving. You are one of most strongest women I have ever “met” to do that trip alone. God truly gave you strength and an abundance of love. Prayers to Nolan’s family and most definitely to the three of you💖👏 👼 Bless you all.

Bravo Jeanine!!!! Driving across so many states with a truck & camper, in cold temperatures and snow!!! God definitely had your back the entire trip!!! My heart dropped a few times - the heater in the camper, exchanging propane tanks, changing fuses, getting the heater repaired only to have the battery warning light come on, oh my!! Then hardly eating, sleeping, functioning with bouts of UC flair ups, having to pull over on the highway, and grieving. Bless your heart!! I've driven truck since 1981 and even took my first two babies in the truck with me! I know what that took for me to do & the strength & determination to see each trip thru. It was incredibly stressful sometimes so I can relate to your nerves, etc. But... YOU DID IT! You got where you needed to be for your family & THAT'S what matters most. We all prayed for you on your journey & I believe that makes a difference. But, truly... even without your brother making the trip with you... you were NEVER REALLY ALONE. But you know that, don't you? !! But I'm so glad you arrived safely & I'm sure your "boys" were sure glad when you pulled in. Thanks for sharing this with us. You stayed so calm... you really should go back (even tho you do your own editing), go watch yourself make that trip. The weather, your personal issues, the circumstances for the trip... all of it. And you were so calm. I'm so proud of you! I'd say GOD BLESS right now... but its glaringly apparent that he already does. I'd hug you if I could. Be well... safe travels back home. 🤗🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏🤗🤗🤗

Oh, Jennine My tears were just pouring down my cheeks, going along with you as you faced all the many obstacles! What do people do who do not have our Abba Father to depend upon?!?! Love and prayers to you and Nolan and your families! Love your videos!!!

Good for you! I drove the opposite way across the country from ID to VA last February to start a new job. I did it alone also, and while it was what I needed to do, it was so difficult! But I wasn't pulling a trailer and feeling sick the whole way, so kudos to you for making it thru! I'm sorry for the sorrow you're all going through right now, and pray that God gives you peace and comfort. Thanks for sharing the bad times as well as the good...

So thankful you made it safely!!! One of the greatest feelings is falling into my husband’s arms after tough times so I can just imagine how comforting that felt to finally arrive and see your family. Sending continued prayers for healing and comfort ☺️☺️☺️

I had colitis about 38 yrs ago. I completely understand having to live your life around a bathroom. Thank God I got healed when my oldest daughter was about 2 & I had another baby. I pray you will be able to receive your healing as well.💞

whew, what a journey! my husband (rare evening viewing time) laughed at all my verbal responses 😆 like "no you didnt!" at your coffessional 😆 Those clouds in the end fastforward roadclips were amazing :) I know there were sooo many emotions on this trip....hope you have been able to breathe a little deeper and process all the things now that youre home.

Massive ordeal! I don’t know how you did it other than God’s grace. I teared up when I watched your reunion at the end! I’m so so thankful you made it safely. I just said a prayer for your family as you are still I’m sure grieving.

What a trip, fellow UC friend! Seeing you reunited after that cross country trip, showed your great love for family. Knowing your limits is key to dealing with UC. When I had a flare on vacation, cholestyramine and zofran (doctor prescribes) helped so much. I know you’re doing things natural...but there are times 😬. I’m so thankful you are home now...what a journey!!! ❤️

I’m in the UK. I had no idea how long this trip would be until I looked it up. Wow. You are an amazing resilient brave lady. I have Crohn’s and understand completely why you drove with the camper. My heart goes out to you and your family and I hope you achieve some respite from your UC soon. X
