As a blind theme park enthusiast, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the amount of detail and description you go into. Really feels like I’m there and not missing out on anything. Totally agree on feeling an atmosphere being such a huge part of a ride experience as well. Cannot wait to write this one day hopefully soon.

I've just come back from Islands of Adventure and wow, that is the best ride I have ever been on. The second launch is incredible and that final inversion is absolutely bonkers. We queued an hour for it late morning when it said 90 mins and then we queued 45 mins for it at night when it said 75 mins, which was a bonus. That ride is so so special

I love the launch audio. The machinery ramp up sound is awesome. There’s so much going on at the beginning it gets lost in the mix. Also, you can hear the raptors screeching at you as you pass them.

I've been on almost 600 coasters and VelociCoaster ranks at #2 for me, right behind Steel Vengeance. It beats Maverick on every element and because VC has lap bars, the ride experience is similar to SV where you are floating through the inversions. The back row is the best for airtime and my son and I got the last ride of the night right before a thunderstorm hit about an hour before park closing. It was easily in the top 5 best individual ride experiences I've ever had. The ride and the theming beat every expectation I had. It's the best overall package in the world. If they had spent another 10 million on an extra 1,000 feet of track with a couple more inversions, this would be everyone's #1 coaster! Glad to see you back in the states, Shawn!

Wow. That does look like a sensational coaster. The final heart line roll must be pretty good for you to say it’s the best final inversion you’ve experienced, as you’ve ridden so many different world class coasters. Yes yes yes yes!! I’ve been crying out for this for years! The fact that you added the POV even though it wasn’t your recording makes vlogs like this a much better viewing experience. Always bugged me that after watching your vlogs I had to go search KZfaq for someone else’s POV. Fantastic! I really hope this keeps up it really does elevate vlog type content to an experience or a “Full package” as Shawn would say 😂😂

I went when the ride was only open for about a month, and operations were spectacular. The wait was over two hours maybe once, but it was normally kept at a 40-60 minute level. Kudos to Universal for nailing the operations.

I couldn't face watching this after I'd had 2 florida holidays cancelled but I can watch it now I went and I rode this coaster. Me and my son loved it we rode it about 7 times day and night front row back row middle rows. My first ride I giggled all the way round I felt like I was gonna fall out with just the lap bar across but I thought now this is a fun way to go. I loved that ride so much and as soon as I got on it I thought 'this was worth all the hard work its took to get me to orlando'. Also mixed feelings cos we did epcot in the morning and I loved cosmic rewind and really didn't want to pick a favourite Chris pratt coaster but I think this is the one

Haha I’m so happy you finally got to ride it! It was sooooo good! I truly cried when we hit the break run it was so good! We waited an hour and a half for it but for two rides and it was sooo worth it! Definitely need to go when it’s quite!
