I can't imagine the all-around pain of having your first ever PortAventura experience, wandering over to Furious Baco, waiting 2 HOURS AND 50 MINUTES only to have a ride on an outer seat in the back row. I think I'd want to start legal proceedings to be honest 🤣

Thank you once again. It's such a shame about the poor operations. I would really like to see you interview the Director of PortAventura and hear how they plan to resolve these issues. When you interviewed Atlon Towers I got a lot of respect for their new leadership team and their openness to listen.

Can’t believe you had to pay €120 extra on top of your park entry ticket to be able to ride and have a better experience. I’ve travelled the world riding coasters over the last 40 years, in 136 different countries and counting ( Yes, I am that old, 52 now 😂) and I will never go to Port Aventura again. Been there once and only managed to get on 5 rides, so it worked out approx €10 a ride 😮. Glad you had a good time in the end but €110 per person including park entry is so expensive

Portaventura looks a great park and this is why I continue to watch this channel its so funny and informative but when serious issues arise you never sugar coat it which is very much appreciated keep up the awesome work looking forward to the next vlog as always

You know a ride is intense/forceful when the seat comes off. And out of all the rides it could happen on, I would have never have guessed a flume ride. Also, if I do go to this park at some point in the future, I will get the express passes because I don’t want to end up waiting for possibly 3 hours. I’m very sorry about the operations that you guys have seen. Hopefully they sort it out in the future.

I remember visiting this place as a kid and the main memories were queueing constantly! Can see that nothing has changed which is a shame as I was blown away by the efficiency at Europa Park recently. Portaventura has so much potential, sort it out!

Love your videos! We're just back from a fantastic week staying in one of the resort hotels, which meant we could spend the day chilling by the pool/beach/bar(!) and then head into the park after dark. The place closes at 10.30pm, so with MUCH shorter queues, we could get in a good 3-4 rides every night. I agree with you that the park looks absolutely beautiful at night and the views of Salou from Shammy B and Dragon Khan... chef's kiss!

I'm so glad I can just nip in and out all week when I go rather than having 1 or 2 full days to cram everything in....really hope park management watch & listen to your wrap-up.

Ive always called templo del fuego the Spanish version of poseidon's fury that use to be at islands of adventure with it being a very similar attraction

For any B&M that focuses on airtime, i prefer the back rows, as i like getting pulled down the drops. Great Vlog

Beautiful two day vlog from Port Adventurer in Spain. It must have been stinking hot out there with this current heatwave affecting parts of Europe. Just a shame it’s not here in the UK. Shambhala and Dragon Khan just two amazing coasters plus numerous smaller family rides. The water rides must have been particularly welcome to ride in the heat. Shame about the poor operations. Awesome firework display at the end.

Can’t wait to watch this! Very disappointing that you had to get Express but is what it is. Hope you enjoyed but PortAventura need to step up there ops. Hope you enjoyed. Something that’s really cool is that we stayed in the same hotel last time we went to PortAventura. It’s a good hotel. Hope you liked your stay there! Universal has already signed for Portaventura in January and they’ll make an official announcement in December. Can’t wait to see how the park will develop with Universal management, hopefully operations will get better

Excellent video guys. There is a reason I’ve watched one of your PortAventura today is because I may probably be planning to go to this part of Spain for a holiday and to go to PortAventura itself. I really can’t wait to go on rides the likes of Shambhala, Dragon Khan, Stamplda and the water rides 😊

Went Port Aventura in April and the main problems were queue jumping (almost every single queue multiple people pushing past to meet friends further up the line) and bad operations. Went 2 days and just like you guys needed to buy express the second day just to get everything done 😢. Aside from that though the parks beautiful x

That view of Shambhala and Dragon Khan on the hill at China’s entrance must be one of the best at any theme park in the world

Minion blast just soft opened. It looks pretty good. You can film the entire queue just not the ride itself. It looks really good inside hard to believe the shrek show was in there just months ago. They also switched out the donkey meet and greet for other stuff like Sing and the minions. The characters go through a door coming out to music and back in. It’s a bit simpler that way. Donkey was a remote puppet that had a voice box and some movement via servos. The operator would speak into a control system and out would come donkey’s voice. It’s same idea with the spitting fountain as they simply talk into a control system and push a button for water to fire.

Shawn’s green hat will be immortalized in a museum one day.😀❤️

Been to PortAventura many times and have never used an express pass, but 5 minutes for Furius Baco instead of two and a half hours is mad. Worth the price! It's a shame that it's run so poorly though. This park is so dear to me (grew up around there) and love Shawn's and Charlotte's excitement for it, but operations are indeed poor. Still appreciate these vlogs and the good bits a lot though. Can't wait to go back.

Never been to PortAventura. Always fancied going. As a teacher, I can only visit these places during peak times like the summer holidays. If the operations are just bad and pretty much require you to buy an express pass, then I simply just won’t ever visit the place and will go somewhere else for my next holiday

When I went on the spinning one wich lifts up the classic I got In the train and was waiting 25 mins for it to start

Just had my first ever trip to PA. Unfortunately couldn’t get on Shambhala, possibly my #1 bucket list coaster, because the restraints wouldn’t fit over my thick thighs. Also picked up some bruised ribs on the red side of Stampida! However, I have a new #1 in Red Force. Never felt anything like it. Also loved Baco, Dragon Khan and Uncharted.

I did colossus years ago, was very rough back then!! Went to terra mitica couple years ago and not much was open. Looks like they have opened a lot more. Great park tho

I think I was lucky, because I went there for the first time in August and the queues weren’t as bad. Some of them were huge and it was taking a long time to dispatch the cars, but I kept checking the app to see the waiting times and it was worth it! Furious Baco had a 3h wait all day and then all of a sudden it was 50min. I ran there and only had to wait 10min in the end! 😂 And I was also lucky because my first ever ride at Shambhala was in a first row seat (I was at the single rider lane)! *sorry my english is quite bad

Hi! Going this August with my family for the first time. We’re staying at Hotel Portaventura! I’m hoping the operations will have improved by then because express passes is out of the budget for us. 🙏🏼

Feel the same way about the operations. I did this park many times over a lot of years and the operations are getting worse each year! Poor costumers… if you are a local you’re in luck, otherwise as a tourist.. 😫

I always think - when does it end? The need for guests to spend extra on top of entrance prices just to get a decent day out?? It’s making the general visitor feel unwanted and unworthy of a good day out. I haven’t visited PAW for 20 years and this is why…..such a shame

That really dose brake my heart hearing about the poor operations. I also have been to that park as a kid and it was my first park adored it’s such a shame to hear. I’m really hoping they get bought out or can sort the operations out.

In my home park(parque Warner Madrid) buy for see Aquaman show in the night,the cocktail in zona vip.100% recomended.Enjoy the travel.

Great vlogs from PA. I love the park however I do agree operations are some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Furthermore, the amount of queue/line jumping I’ve personally witnessed is shocking. Stampida is brutally rough however it is nonetheless very popular …. The queues attest to this. Furious Baco…. inside seats, lean forward and you may have a bearable ride lol. As prior noted, I love the park….. night time rides on Shambala are breathtaking, the theming and weather makes it a memorable experience. But and it’s a considerably large but…. The park could be so much better. Controversial comment perhaps as I’ve not experienced Uncharted. PA may have been wiser to delay Uncharted for a year or so and re-direct funds to Stampida and Furious Baco (new trains for both and a full re-track for the woodie). I’m contemplating returning next year however I do have more than a few doubts as to whether I should re-direct my budget 🤔. Keep up the great work S and C 🎢👍

Hello i watched day 1 and red force

We have had the same experience this week 😢 operations were awful first day and queues we 2/3 hrs for most rides did 3 rides before we called it a day at 7pm worst was red force waited 4 hrs advertised 1hr 10 mins 😢 decided for other 2 days to get a fastpass to try and enjoy the day £300+ for 3 of us like u say u shouldn't have to buy a fastpass to enjoy a day at a theme park but the first day was that bad we had to !!!

Great honest vlog. We’ve gone for a week for the past 3 trips and stayed in the hotel, so paid for express for the whole week because my husband is terrible at waiting. Shame about the boat ride in the china area, that used to be so good. I love tomahawk. Shame stampeda isn’t as smooth. I went on Grand National a couple of weeks ago though and it was so shakey I thought body parts might fall off. The water by Shambhala is looking murky. That shop by Angkor is great it’s the only theme park shop I’ve ever bought anything in (an elephant ornament). The shows are amazing but the hotel entertainment is rubbish. They do a dine around option where if you go half or full board you can dine in the park which is great. We’ve eaten in all the restaurants and like the Mexican one best. Does the bang bang show still happen in far west?

I would go just for the shows! They looks so good.

I’ve always enjoyed Tutuki Splash! Was disappointed when Busch Gardens Tampa removed their similar ride!

I feel exactly the same about PA ops so frustrating. We went out in April thinking it would be quiet. 3hr 30 for shambala I wish I could upload the photo I took of the queue board. Express queue for shambala was down to the water splash and took 45 mins when we caved in and bought it 😢
