A part of me is sad about the news. I think that's natural as ARMYs because we're used to seeing them as a group. I'm sure they're kinda sad about it, too. 1:15:35 this is literally my 4th time watching festa2022 and I'm still crying like my tears spills out immediately when I hear Namjoon voice like that we have never seen this side of him or hear him cry like this, u can tell he cares but he has had too much building up but because he wants try so hard to satisfy and make army and be BTS and all this pressure it's just been too much. This was emotional for me because they looked so worried about our thoughts and just hurting. If they were like “Hi guys! We’re going on a two year break but RUN BTS will keep going along with us releasing solo albums to be refreshed for chapter two” I’d be like congrats, good for you! But seeing them cry like this and knowing they have so many worries and thoughts that they want to share is what upsets me. I want them to be happy and they shouldn’t feel guilty for taking a break. Jungkook went live and stated that he wanted to clear up some news, since he saw on media "bts disbanding". He made sure to say that they arent, that they are just focusing on solo projects but they still have so many group activities 💜 idk but hearing it from a member himself made me heal a little familia. Honestly, I am so happy for them. The hardest thing was watching Namjoon, but I'll just remember how happy they all looked in the VLive after their music show performance, because I know that was recorded after this dinner. For real, this Dinner party where we could listen to what goes on in their minds makes me respect them even more, even though I already respect them so much. Some Armys were right all along, they've really changed a lot with Butter, Permission to Dance (after ON). They felt like it wasn't the Bangtan Sonyeondan they used to love anymore, but I really had no idea with it since I'm a new Army. However, I admire how BTS especially Namjoon (as the leader) responded with this. First is they try to make the Armys understand about it, because it really helps a lot for us and it keeps us not to feel being left behind from them. Second is they're taking a break from doing group activities. They could have just release another English songs and pursue the Grammys not minding themselves getting lost and exhausted. But I admire them because they choose to save themselves first, to rediscover their identity once again. It just shows music is really the most important for them, and not just about/for awards and fame. I love it. I love how sincere they are to us, and to their crafts. They cannot just fake it, we see it through their eyes. Third is they choose to still be BTS though they'll be doing solo projects from now on. We can tell well that they are really not toxic to each other, since they love being together that much. With this, the respect and love I have for them even sky-rocketed more than before. There's just no other groups for me, other than these Bangtan 7. Whatever future that lies ahead for them, I'm so here for it. And even though there were moments where I was hurt and sad about them, I really won't complain about it since I love them so much. I'll take care of myself too, so when the times for them coming back, we're all ready. 💜

They feel like they need time to find their voice again as individuals and then as a group. 4. Hobi will be the first to release his solo works. 5. Some of the other members are also preparing their individual albums. 6. They will continue with their Run BTS shows. And it was also basically confirmed the members all live separately now to respect each other’s space and privacy and we got to hear that Jin has a tent in his living room/house and jungkook has 6 or 8 mattresses in his house and basically sawed a mattress with scissors to make it fit 🥹 that’s the youngest and oldest members of the biggest boy group in the world for you 💜🫶🏼

I believe this change will do the most for Jimin especially. I think out of all of them, he's the one that struggles the most to find who he is as an artist outside the group. Familia this broke everyone, not the "off" period, no, it was because the members broke down and started crying because of how worn out they were. Imagine, they were supposed to start their "chapter 2" after ON promotions but they stuck it out for us, they were there for us because of the pandemic that took a toll on everyon including them, they put us first before themselves. I am extremely happy that they are finally putting themselves first and taking care of themselves. I can't wait to see what each one of them have in store for us, we know we will always support them, as a group and as individuals. It's absolutely beautiful and it means a lot how they wanted to tell us this themselves and how much our thoughts mean to them. Right now, the best we can do for these 7 amazing men is give our full support to each of them. I'm also glad RUN BTS is returning soon, just shows they do not want to leave us wothout any group content, afterall, they are going to be having group activities, just not music for now. As JK said on his VLive last night, rm on Weverse also. They clarified that they are not on hiatus. Jk said that they will just take a break on doing group music temporarily to recharge themselves to do create good quality music again. He also clarified that taking a break doesn't mean they will not be active as a group. He said that They would be active as BTS and still do group activities and film stuff together. They will just focus more a bit on their solo projects and after their solo projects they would be back together again as a whole. It's just a temporary break. Don't worry they would be back soon. I hope all army's will support each members equally on their solo albums and wait for them. Shows, commercials, photoshoot, ads and other group activities will still continue. I'm gonna be honest, i don't think bts has even peaked yet. Them choosing to go on a break like this just shows how much they truly value their music and artistry because it takes a lot of courage to take a step back the moment you start to lose sight of your direction, especially at the very height of your career. They're FINALLY getting a moment to breathe and discover themselves and i'm honestly so excited for all of them. I feel so sad when Jimin said they want to be sincere but can not share everything with us. I just hope that, by showing them our support and true love whatever decision they may take for their personal welfare, they can feel freer to open up about what they think is really meaningful for them and us. I think most of their fans love each of the members even beyond what BTS is as a group. And are looking forwards to discovering them on solo projects!

Your smiles at the beginning and the excitement too and the tears at the end m. I felt like I am seeing myself during that painful dinner 😭

I still tear up when I remember little moments from this festa dinner ARMY will always be there for bangtan no matter what and when namjoon started to cry and all the members I lost it I couldn’t stop crying even after the video was finished and hobi as I was typing this posted on Instagram his 7 tattoo and started to cry again because they decided to get these “7” friendship tattoos together as they are about to work individually to grow as artists and as army got to know the news that they will be working on more solo projects/taking a break but will still be a group a group of 7 and that’s BTS, we know bangtan will come back stronger like they said and ARMY will be waiting and still supporting through this journey 💜

I'm really glad they are taking this time to find themselves as individuals. It's not like they are gone forever. It's like any other relationship sometimes time apart does the heart justice. Also thank goodness for social media we can always go back to all their previous videos and songs just to get our daily fix. They need this break, it does sadden and gives me so much admiration they don't ever stop thinking of the Army....do what you have to do our 7 Kings and thank you for all the memories and the ones to come💜💜💜🤟

The thing is the other groups would just go solo without any notify like this when they become successfull enough. But when BTS does it becomes so much more serious and emotional, and they always hesitate to do it because they’re scared of ARMY being disappointed. Because like V said, they obsess over being a group, and not just them but at some point we and the world also obsess over BTS being a group and that affected them a lot. They feel like they always have to work as one team and they feel sorry to even think about being apart and going solo. It’s not even a big deal for any other groups tho especially when some of the members have to go to military soon, the rest going solo is just expected. So when the news of BTS going on a hiatus came out i was honestly scared that they would stop making music cause it sounded so serious 🥲 Thank God we still have a lot to expect from them in the future 🥰 And V is appearing in IN THE SOOP with his friends soon so im not sad anymore

46:05-46:20 YES!!! THANK YOU!!! This is EXACTLY how I feel and think about it! I think that’s why I’m so freaking excited!!!! This is honestly going to be WONDERFUL! We are going to get so much new content from them individually and so many new flavors of the members that I’m honestly SO excited to see!! And I also think because I know with certainty that they will be a group together once again, and be BTS for as long as they can, I’m so excited for them to do these solo projects! Because that way they will build themselves anew as artists and come together even stronger than before! And I can’t WAIT to get that individualized flavor of every piece of Bangtan! I can handle a year or two of no new group stuff! Actually, I’m really happy for it, because now this finally FINALLY gives me the chance to go back and watch their old content!! (My goal: Go through the entirety of the BTS Content Index from first tweet/log/performance to the most recent. It’ll be a MONSTER goal, but a worthwhile one and a goal I’ve personally had for a year now but never had the time to with new content coming. But now I’ll finally have the chance to for these few years of break!! I’m SO freaking excited to do it!! I can’t wait to get started!! And then on top of that, still getting new solo content and the individual flavors of Bangtan as I go through their group growth??? Sign me tf up!! I’m so ready for this break because it finally gives me the chance to grow as a BTS fan and an ARMY and learn their history and lineage and large monumental events that affected them personally (both good and bad) and how that shifted their musical tone and styling to the group and member behavior and how they grew to become family and very good people. I’m SO excited to get started on this! 😆😆 So anyway, that’s my goal on the group’s “break” which isn’t even really a break since we’ll be getting new music and flavors and artistic creations of all kinds from every single member! I really can’t wait to get to know Joon and Jimin and JK and everyone else as an individual! And later see them all come together to create an even better group!! It will be like experiencing a whole new BTS debut!!!! Which I’m so excited to get to experience and understand this is what début fans must have felt like! And anyway, even during all this solo stuff we will still get content with them being together!! I bet we’ll get cute Insta photos of them hanging out, or see cams of some of them in the crowd of an individual member performance, or see them sitting or hanging out together at award shows and such if their solo stuff gets nominated and they choose to go! It will be so exciting to see their friendship in this way, because it speaks to how truly close they are as friends and family to want to spend time with one another even when they are not obligated to professionally! And we’ve always known their closeness, but this will be a whole new statement of their camaraderie and love for each other born not out of group obligation, but of true friendship and love. They are only going solo PROFESSIONALLY, not personally 😊 They are BFFs after all! And I can’t wait for this new chapter that will show that more than anything! Anyway, I’m really looking forward to all this and I can’t WAIT to experience what’s about to happen because we have NO idea, and that’s the most exciting part about it! Just like every Army, I needed some time to digest what transpired, as I wasn’t prepared for the roller coaster of emotions that ensued. However, since you guys are my favorite, I’ve decided to share here with you. We each have our personal stories about the time we found BTS or even how they found us, mostly during times when we were going through some challenges. The boys have indeed been a blessing to us in so many ways and in order to do that, they have had to make personal sacrifices that they have actively chosen to keep from us, in a continued effort to always keep us happy and entertained. Without intending to undermine the boundless contributions of each of our boys, RM has also selflessly devoted himself to being this exceptional leader, voice and even protector of both Bangtan and Army. In the process, he has somehow neglected his personal growth as an artist. Even more admirable, is the fact that he feels guilty about feeling this personal need, for fear that we will be disappointed. However, he is the leader and the heart of this journey and when the heart is hurting the rest of the body follows. Hence, the rest of the group acknowledges this and agrees that indeed, this is the right time to start a new chapter - to finally do things in their own flavour, with the aim of bettering themselves, so that when they start another chapter, together again, they can give us even more outstanding and lifelong experiences. I am excited. Aside from this one hot bowl of amazing hotpot, we will soon be treated to seven other specialty dishes! In the meantime, remember how RM described their success into ratio : 5% from each member, 15% from the company and 50% from Army? Indeed, half the responsibility of ensuring that our boys will have every reason to come back again as one, falls on us - ARMYs! So let’s continue as we have done before, this time with even more fervor. Let’s support every single member like never before. To borrow from that song, in order for our boys to soar individually, let us be the wind beneath their wings! BTS and ARMY FOREVER!

Honestly Namjoon's Breakdown breaks my heart💔

The thing that was the hardest about watching it was seeing how much all the members were going through and none of us ever knew even a bit about it b4. And seeing Joon really breakdown crying like that cuz he actually felt guilty for making such a brave decision and all the members getting even more emotional was the hardest and most heartbreaking part of it all😭 I'm sure we as armys will always support and be there for them no matter what path they choose that feels right to them and i just hope that they know that and don't worry or feel guilty about making such decisions for their own happiness!💜

We all know the fact that they are there for us everytime but what made us cry was that we are emotionally attached to them, if they are happy.. we are happy, if they cry.... it's impossible for us to not to cry, but still we need to support them, no matter what they do💜💜

I cry everytime while watching dinner party that masterpiece video will never get old it always make me cry we will wait for Bangtan 2025💜

literally crying all night long after watch this yesterday, not because of their decision but kinda feel sad that they hold all the feeling and pain because they don't want army to be disapointed at them. They did everything for us, so now its time for them to got the happiness they deserve. And it's our time to support BTS whatever path they wanted to choose.

I'm so proud of BTS and ARMY's hard work. BTS is now untouchable and unreachable, unstoppable even, but they chose hit the brakes for now, to search deep within and to be happy. Now they are reaping the results and are now able to do things freely.

I'm okay the whole time but the part when Joon started crying, I lost it.. 😭😭😭😭😭

I think RM is talking about the fact that there were so many that were saying "They said that they would never write and English song, I thought they said that they didn't care about American Awards, The English songs are not as strong and as meaningful as the Korean songs, why are they doing an Anthology Album they aren't that old" all the things people said that were hard on BTS. We have to remember Bang Shi Hyuk also told them it was hard to promote them as they are only making positive messaging music and so they only travel laterally. It is actually the best thing for them. It has been years that they have seen other group's individuals that came out at the same time or a little before that are years into their solo carreers. People like Kai, D.O., Jackson Wang, etc. So the time has come for them to do the same. I am happy that they each have their ideas of what to do. It may be longer than a yr because Jin is waiting to be enlisted into the military and after him the other guys will go after. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
