I'm pretty sure that the compact machines mod actually does not create a new dimension for each block, it actually creates a new area inside the same dimension, hence why when you go from one compact machine, into another as done in 15:21, you do not go through the dimension loading screen

What if your base was just a compact machine that had compact machines so your base was just 1 block

To create the largest, which requires the 5x5 structure built, you don't need to have the projectors that far back. Have the 5x5 area where structure is built, then 3 blocks away (3 between 5x5 and projector) then 2 blocks high is where you set the projectors. The projectors only need to encompass the structure before it's minimized.

That mod is SO FUCKING COOL, you can make LITERALLY a base in a compact machine, with a compact machine inside that compact machine, THAT'S TOTALLY INSANE

Regarding the placement of the diamond blocks not being self-explanatory in the NEI/JEI interface, I discovered that if you hold shift while looking at the recipe, NEI will show you an x-ray view of the multiblock's internal structure... at least with Compact Machines v. 3.0.12 and JEI v. 4.13.1.220 in Minecraft v.1.12.2. Hope that helps!

Fun fact: anything around the compact machines (all of which are in the same dimension) is the void, i used a modpack and had an item that allows me to travel between worlds & died in a world called compactmachine

Nice. The only problem I have now is when I hit E to check my inventory the game crashes. Now I have to figure out if there is a way to fix the problem. The only thing I can think of that may have went wrong is I wanted to wash my jetpack and yet that is when things started to crash. Granted it was electric but it did go in. I had to brake the washing machine to stop the crashing the first time. I am hopping I don't have to start all over because I was just about ready to start space flight to mars. I was so close to. Had the rocket and just bummed if I have to start all over. Good video. I always go to your videos when I get confused. Good stuff.

What if I use AE2 Spatial Drives to store the Compact Machine and then reconstruct it inside the compact machine? Does the compact machine now contain itself? What happens if I leave, will I be locked out?

People don't like it because it doesn't integrate with other mods well... But that's part of the charm you know?

I went inside and set a timer to break the machine block from the outside and suck it inside. Then inside I've made another compact machine and interconnected these two without any possibility to go out. Dyson cube confirmed.

I love this mod. I like to have everything in the base and within short range of each another. This has cause unplayable games because of lag. The compact doesn't cause lag as everything space apart. Like a block distance in overworld is x amount in nether. Playing FTBRevelation 2.4.1 I already have 16 max compact machines. Only done side is sometimes Compact Machines are to small.. Only can fit so many Quantum Rings inside max compact mache

Got an important question that you didn't mention in the video. How do you aim the projector? Mine do not want to face the work area.

What happens if you are in a room and it gets picked up externally? Could you use some sort of timer/blocker breaker/hopper/tesseract- > tesseract/ block placer system to send yourself as a sort of teleportation kludge🤓?

the compact machines are also really good for killing boss mob.s like the wither which will destroy everything if you let it but if you spawn it inside the compact machine dimension then it really can't do anything outside of kill you of course.

You can use the enderio staff of traveling to teleport out in a compact machine to have a whole dimension inside 1 block.

When you showed how the 3x3 projection area didn't work because you need space to throw the item in, would that setup have done anything even if you did have space? You didn't have the block in the middle, and you threw redstone instead of an ender pearl.

So can you list all the tech mods you're playing with? Most of those really caught my attention.

first thing I though make the biggest one and shove the biggest Extreme reactor you can make in it. though if you can afford of corse the draconium reactor is better.

No wonder my compact machine was not working (the maximum compact machine). I didn’t know that it had to be hollow besides the emerald. It would have made sense if I wasn’t trying to make multiple at a time. I would have seen that the amount of blocks didn’t match up.

this might be even more useful for something else but would require xnet , and thats making a redstone eprom or a whole project red version of such , could make a redstone cpu build fit into multiple of dimensional blocks

It says on the download page all the machines are in same dimension. Also the 3x3 will create in the 3x3 area, you were throwing redstone at it though; it requires an ender pearl as the catalyst. Also, you have the ability to nest compact machines, so compact machines inside compact machines. Compactmacheption

this would be great for skyblocks, since they tend to be more laggy, but it's probably not going to be in my normal packs.

i am just learning about these, i know that i am late to the party. im playing Stoneblock 1.12 and i have Pams fruit trees on Bonsai pots feeding into Storage Drawers. I am trying to pipe them out using EnderIO to the Cooking for Blockheads cabinets for my kitchen. i am having an issue where nothing is leaving the Compact machine. Do the tunnels work with EnderIO or should i use a different pipe system?
