What would happen if perhaps the greatest mixed martial artist of all time fought the most ferocious Muay Thai fighter of his era under Muay Thai rules, and then the next round, under MMA rules? This question would be answered in full when living legend Demetrious Mighty Mouse Johnson faced off against the Muay Thai phenom Rodtang Jitmaungnon.

On a serious note: I've always thought Rodtang would've been a beast at boxing. He's got really good fundamentals and his hands speed and power is really something you don't see that often coming from Muay Thai fighters. I love how he mixes in his combinations, deadly.
@TheModernMartialArtist

Yeah his wide "sloppy" shots wouldn't even be much of an issue because he kind of chooses when to throw those and when to throw with "better" form. Thank you for 🔦 on this EPIC match. IMO, ONE has a gold mine of material that has yet to be broken down by western media. They are by far the best mma promotion in the world rn. UFC fighters wouldn't/couldn't stand a chance over there. The competition level isn't even close.. ONE | Lumpinee is absolutely insane. And it's FREE on youtube- Every Friday morning LIVE! !

I've said before that sometimes high-level exchanges between elite fighters can look like wild flailing to the untrained eye, but man all the exchanges here seem pretty evidently high-level regardless of how savvy you are with martial art nuances.

I only know some grappling from my younger years, and the technicals of boxing which I've largely learned from you, but even so this was so far the easiest to understand breakdown of mma/m-t/kb that I've seen from you so far. Can't wait to learn more so I have another sport I can understand and appreciate

He does But not by casuals Goats like GSP always include him in the top 5 greats Even Joe Rogan includes him and he makes so many bad takes People who don't include him are generally people like Dana White, who has Ronda Rousey in his top 5 💀

I liked this fight but the result was obvious imo. Rodtang didn't really put people out in the first round and you need at least a year of hardcore wrestling/grappling training to even have a chance to survive the second round (and that's assuming they have very good grappling talent, I would say more years for people who don't) against someone like DJ.

Bro he chose that as his moniker, and I think he looks badass even though it's funny. The truth is that these shopped thumbnails get way more clicks and this one is doing great so far. If it's between these thumbnails and people seeing my videos and my old thumbnails and no one sees it the choice is obvious. Channels who know nothing and give out bad advice get higher CTR's with their thumbs so I'd rather not have those guys spread bad info and then throw in one or two of my technique points to seem credible and get money from it. I would never insult a fighter and I think I did the opposite here. So it's fine if you think it's silly but I don't see how it can be taken as disrespectful given that's his literal nickname he chose himself.
