You hear interviews from post Scandoval where she says that Ariana is allowed to stand her ground in not talking to Tom & stand by that decision. I think when it comes to VPR I don’t understand why it’s such a big deal that she won’t speak to Tom if that’s her real life. If she wasn’t going to spaces that he was at, I think I would side more with Lala. But I don’t think it’s wrong of her to still go to the events and just not want to speak to him. It is her reality and she blatantly said she’d never speak to him again LAST SEASON. I think Lala just ruined herself speaking so poorly on social media and her podcast that it has got to the point where it’s hard to believe she comes from a place of sincerity in anything she says.

Ariana set a boundary and stuck to it. No one on this show has ever followed through. They expected Ariana to go back to normal for the sake of their check and she didn’t. S&L had no problem making money off of the situation but are upset that their money has stopped. It’s not Ariana’s fault that she’s getting opportunities and she should capitalize as they ALL would if given the chance.

Lala is the worst and her double standards are impossible to be ignored. How did she sit everyone down demanding they cut ties with Randall but expects Ariana to film 2 months after this happened? Lala had no issue being in those commercials with Ariana and then turns around and slanders her? I really can’t understand how anyone could think Lala is right on any level.

The guy in baby reindeer is the real guy and it is his true story. Which makes it even crazier to watch, knowing he endured all of that and then made a Netflix show about it.

Lala and Scheana are Producer’s pets this season. Every scene with them is them judging, shaming, and criticizing Ariana while also supporting Ariana’s abuser and going out of their way to forgive him. It’s gross and the confessionals are even worse. They are not good people. Lala and Scheana deserve each other.

I'm def katie and ariana. Most authentic. Lala saying ariana not being authentic is so false. Ariana talking to Tom would be inauthentic. If lala wanted to make an argument, she should have said you are on a show and need to give something to the show. lala is just being a hypocrite coming out of what she did after randall and on scheana's podcast after. I defended lala every season, until now. and don't forget about the hot mic moment at the end with Schwartz and Sandoval exposed who is really performative.

Sorry ladies. Strongly disagree with VPR takes. Lala and Scheana are only trying to produce storylines. Production and pet cast ruined this season. They could have taken a full women power season, showing us the girls real lives, but instead they tried and failed to give Tom Sandoval a redemption arc.

As someone with a background in TV I can really put myself and understand Lala and Scheana. if this were real life then of course Arianna and Katie all the way but even myself a layperson took the high road when I have been in Ariana's situation with a crazy narc who almost ruined my life and I didn't have a job to do with a full team and it didnt bring me dream opportunities. ( she can still be in pain i get it) People are forgetting that in the POV of the cast I am sure MANY things were rescheduled, reworked and held back on the weekly because of Ariana's schedule and her successes. As someone who has almost glided through all the past seasons I can understand their expectations for her to keep the last night of filming alive. Esp since she had her new BF and lives with the man. ITM the cast and producers couldn't see that Ariana's truth and walk off made the show and finale. I am pretty sure there was a lot of pressure on production from corporate bc numbers soared after these people were nearly planning retirement. It's an ensemble cast, new people ( they tried) don't thrive and the original people are on the outs there is definitely a LOT of panic and at this point they have known these producers for over a decade and they don't want to let eachother down and are ready to rally but she and katie and Tom all think they can bake their cakes and eat it too. Scheana and Lala just want to work and eat a slice if they can. I dont think Lala and Scheana are as thirsty as they seem they are just motivated.

Survivor of sexual assault here… I found baby reindeer to be an amazing show, that I found a lot of solace in. They gave a trigger warning at the beginning of the episode and I’ve been warning everyone I know that it’s very dark so I’m not sure who told you that it’s light hearted??? It’s a dark show but it’s real life and it really happened to him and continues to happen to a lot of people. It’s not a show for everyone though.

I definitely think I'm in the minority regarding the Ariana situation but I totally agree with your assessment & I understand where Lala is coming from. For 10 seasons everyone had to film with people they hated and Ariana hasn't had to. I see where their frustration is coming from....& I also understand Ariana's mental health but if it was that serious to her, she should've left the show. And *I KNOW* that she shouldn't have to give up the show when he cheated, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles. It isn't always fair. If she truly prioritized her mental health, she should've left the show. It totally sucks and isn't fair but it is what it is.

I'm confused because Ariana DOES film with Tom Sandoval.. she has multiple times and went on a trip with him! What else do you want her to do? Plus, how can you say she gives nothing when half the cast gives nothing these days. I like Lala, but I think she needs to back off just a tad here! Also, remember when she told tom schwartz to stop hanging out with Randall and to PICK sides!!!!

Hi Girlies!! Love my Turd & my Jackie O more than most my family lol. Plz plz just hear me out on this take. I heard ur take on ‘Baby Reindeer’. Ep 4 was extremely intense. I agree it was so disturbing and not pleasant to even be a part of. I know ur not going to, but the next couple episodes really resonate on why this entire Martha situation happened for Donny and why he let it go so far. I agree the grooming is never ok and it’s horrible to see, but actions to people become actions to others. I hated to witness that scene, but that was the real life situation of the man that wrote it, the literal actor that lived it. He put something out that was the most vulnerable he could ever be, life fucking sucks and screws u over and because of that u make decisions u wouldn’t even have made if it didn’t. All I’m saying is yes, it was absolutely not ok what happened to him. But it is important to his backstory. He was the one that wrote it as a play, then helped make it to a series. He wants people to be aware of this sickening abuse. I guess I’m just asking u to look at what this is as whole and to watch the other episodes- I felt peace when I watched them, and I felt ultimate love for who went through this whole thing. It brings a light to what we have been looking at for the past few years. This is a #METOO movement piece but in a really different way. I just think this should be looked at differently than what u described on the podcast. I believe he sent is as he survived and he kept on. Not every survivor story is a walk through the sunrise. Sometimes u go through more shit because of things u have been through to give to the world for perspective. It’s a dark “comedy” (some of the writing is good) but I think it’s really impactful. PLEASE try and change the perspective, but I 100% where u r now.

Would be interesting to see if he would film with Jo next season after her harassing him and his new gf. Ariana has filmed with Tom allll season, has gone to the same spaces and events. Lala take would be more convincing if she hadn’t spent the last year profiting second most to Ariana off the scandal. She also didn’t say any of her real opinions to Ariana’s face, now that would have made good tv.

TWO THINGS CAN BE TRUE AT ONCE! This is a show, this is a job, you have to film uncomfortable real moments. However, in order to have real moments we have to remember that it stems from REAL people. This is Ariana’s real life! She’s a real person, and if for her mental health she negotiated a contract to allow her to be protected- then so sorry Lala! They all must figure out a way to save the show themselves; it’s an ensemble cast! The world doesn’t end if a 1on1 conversation doesn’t happen.

I’m siding with Ariana and Katie. This season has been a tough watch because of the human vs entertainment element. I understand everyone wanting a big scene between Ariana and Tom because it’ll be great for ratings and views, but she’s been very clear about her boundaries. This man brought so much trauma to her and he’s not going to give her the authentic apology she deserves because he only wants to do it for the views. Through the years we did see their relationship ebbs and flows, but I don’t think it’s fair to say that Ariana was the one hiding those issues. Sandoval seemed to be very instrumental at masking their true relationship until it served his narrative. This was even brought up by Jax in Season 8. When Scandoval first happened, Ariana let Scheana and Lala speak about the happenings on their podcasts because she trusted them as friends and she allowed them to be her mouthpiece through the whole thing until she was ready to speak about it. I feel like Ariana has been the castmate to speak about it the least in the media. Lala and Scheana have been disappointing friends to Ariana and I don’t personally understand what they’re gaining from Sandoval because he has thrown vile remarks their way. I could keep going lol. I hope Ariana just keeps getting opportunity after opportunity so she doesn’t have to return VPR. With friends like Scheana and Lala who needs enemies.

VP take- Katie spews hate and at least for me, every time she’s on TV I feel uncomfortable. It doesn’t surprise me that Bravo fans love her because most people that watch reality TV love drama. I feel like Lala has grown the most in this scenario, and there’s a BIG difference: Lala isn’t agreeing to live and work with her ex. You can’t reap the benefits of being on VP without talking to your coworkers. I hope that Ariana can give herself space to process the rollercoaster she’s been on to be able to create some new healthy patterns for her mental health. Unfortunately I think the best thing for her would be to move out of the reality TV space and lean into these amazing opportunities coming her way. Give yourself space sister.
