These guys met at a music school in Stockholm, Sweden. Jonah (vocals, keys) were studying classical direction while Aron (drums) and Henrik (bass) were studying jazz/improvisation. They began rearranging contemporary and songs from the '80s and uploaded it to KZfaq. Needless to say it went super viral and more or less everyone in the music biz sang their praises!! Eventually David Foster took them under his wings as his like protégés now they belong to Quincy Jones productions!! If you wanna here some crazy bass lines you gotta check out Work Shit Out with these guys!!!

Dude, these guys are from Sweden , the bass is made by a small company in Sweden, and yes they are formally trained. Bravo!

That bass ain't no Fender, they are called Mattisson Basses and are handcrafted by Anders Mattisson himself in Sweden. I happen to know his daughter, so I've actually had the honor to try one out myself and I can sure tell you that it was amazing. Unfortunately, they are quite expensive, so I'll probably never have the chance to own my own though.

Such a fun reaction! 😜 The bass is funky as, the drums are killer, and Jonah’s vocals (all of the vocals on this track are sung by him) and keys are out of this world!! Hey, I was wondering if you’ve listened yet to Dirty Loops “Coffee Break is Over”, another fun tune ;) Then there is “Pink Power” with only Aron and Henrik -I think you would dig that one too 🔥 Looking forward to more DL reactions, man! 🙏

Im right there with you on the bass player. I started playing bass at 11( I'm 60 now ). This guy makes me want to break out my Ibanez 6 string and my Hohner 5 headless and start relearning my playing all over again. Loved the reaction.

Don't be mad at yourself. Music is all about people connecting, it's something we all share. When you see someone 20 years younger than you killing it, it shouldn't be a negative thing, it should be a positive thing.
