Yes it doesn't snow in the Philippines so the word Nyebe here is used metaphorically to show loneliness, sadness, uncertainty...these emotion tho often than not give us tears.. Tears under a microscope look like snowflakes. Pablo is really a genius lyricist. Thanks for the reaction. 🥰

I know it's impossible but why is it pouring snow? Since it doesn't snow in the Philippines. Just imagine how much more emotion there was that it caused snow to pour in one's heart. 😥

In an interview Pablo said he wrote this during the pandemic with everyone feeling uncertainties. His father is also working abroad and could not go home. So this song resonates with overseas Filipino workers. Also snow is just a metaphor as there is no snow in the phils.i

for me Nyebe (snow) represents all your worries, problems and longing... being alone somewhere far is lonely and just sad... keeping all your problems to yourself with no one to confide... but as the song says, matutunaw din ang nyebe which translate to "eventually the snow will melt", all your problems/worries will all go away... it's not gonna be there forever and you won't be alone forever... such a beautiful song... the translation was very simplified but it was written poetically and it really does have a deep meaning to it... thank you for this reaction...

Pablo used the Nyebe or Snow as a metaphor for all the "coldness" we experience in life... but just like a real snow, all of those will eventually melt as the ray of sunshine comes into our lives. We just need to be tough through this cold, and then we will once again smile as the sun light kiss us and give us warmth. Fun Fact: did you know that Snow and dried human tears are alike when looked under a microscope? And its not because their both liquids, water (which is the liquid state of ice/snow) looks different. Whether Pablo knows this or not, he definitely made the most befitting metaphor for what we feel.

This song was a Tribute to All OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers) working abroad leaving their family behind for good pasture, sacrificing, adjusting, longing esp; during Winter Time w/ c Filipinos never used to it! Hearing their families voice back home and knowing they're still ok is enough to warmth their feeling during winter.. OFW's are the New Generation of PH🇵🇭 Heroes!! 🙏💕🇵🇭

You are correct there's no snow in the philippines. Thats why in the song "alam kong hindi ito possible pero bakit bumubuhos ang nyebe" I know its not possible but why is it pouring snow. Snow here means extreme longing or sadness that you feel cold or alone, or like when you have all this heavy burden that you feel like you, you can't do anything..

Yes. It doesn't snow in the Philippines. That's why the first line of the chorus is: "I know it is impossible but why is it pouring snow?" Which was figuratively speaking about worries and loneliness.

I just want to thank you for being you and what you do raising money for food in the Philippines. Mad respect. I wish and hope for people around the world to have enough food on their table and a safe space to rest. These are things that are encapsulated in the song itself. It talks about the dark and sad realities life has to traverse and at the same time the hopeful aspiration of a brighter tomorrow.

We all know that boys had their own personal struggles and so are we. that part "Oh to hear your voice, that snow will slowly melt" it's for us FANS who've supported them since day one whenever they went out on stage and heard us cheering for them all the struggles that they've been through melted away. And same as we (A'Tin) sometimes we do have problems and just by listening to their music we tend to forget that we're not okay and those loneliness and sorrow melted away as well by hearing their music. 🥹🥹🥹 that's the impact of NYEBE for me whenever I heard it🤧😭

Nyebe is a localized term of the Spanish word “nieve,” meaning snow. The track was originally one of Pablo’s unreleased compositions before the group performed it during the Our Zone 2021 concert. Following the event, they announced the adaptation of Nyebe into the group’s discography.
